One of the features added in the Feybreak Update is the Pal Expeditions, which allows you to send several Pals out on an adventure to come back with loot.

Doing Pal Expeditions as early and often as possible is a good way to secure a lot of Ancient Pal Manuscripts to stock up for later.
Pal Expeditions may be started from a Pal Expedition Station, which is a structure that can be unlocked once you reach Level 15.
2) Purchasing From Vigilante Bounty Officers
If you have been busy taking down Bounties, you will surely have gotten your hands on some Successful Bounty Tokens amongst the loot from the criminals.
These can be traded for certain items available from the Vigilante Bounty Officers, which can be found in the settlements on the Palpagos Islands.
You may purchase 3 Ancient Pal Manuscripts for 1 Successful Bounty Token at any of the Vigilante Bounty Officers that you find on the islands.
Best Way To Farm Ancient Pal Manuscripts
Since there are two ways to obtain Ancient Pal Manuscripts, you may want to make use of both methods to get as many as possible.
