Farming different resources and looting chests for items can sometimes take up a lot of time and thanks to the Feybreak Update, a new feature has made everything a lot easier.
The Feybreak Update introduced the Pal Expeditions feature, which allows you to send your Pals out to caves to obtain items to bring back.
With the addition of the Pal Expedition Station, you can send the Pals that you have on the side to farm items from different locations depending on what you have unlocked.
What Are Pal Expeditions?
Pal Expeditions is a feature that was added in the Feybreak Update, which requires you to craft the Pal Expedition Stations to send them on their hunts.
This allows you to select a certain location, which will have different rewards based on where the Pals will be going as well as which Pals you send out.
Depending on how difficult the expedition will be, there will be more resources that you can obtain, and the maximum number of Pals is limited to 100, so you can send a lot per station.
Keep in mind that there can only be one Pal Expedition Station per base, which makes it important to plan out whether you place it in your main base or an outpost.
How To Send Pals on Expeditions?
To send Pals on an expedition, you will first need to build a Pal Expedition Station, this can take up quite a lot of space, but it is still worth the trouble.
Once a station has been built, head to the entrance and interact with it to open up the Pal Expedition Dispatch menu.
From here you will be able to see the list of locations where your Pals may be sent and selecting one will allow you to proceed.
After choosing the location, you will need to select which Pals will be sent out on the expedition, and depending on the Pals and their levels, the time it takes and the chance for reward changes.
You can choose to Auto-Assign your Pals, which has the station automatically picking out the best choices to complete the expedition.
Once you start the expedition, all you need to do now is wait for the timer to end and when your Pals return, you can contact the station to collect the rewards.
How To Unlock Pal Expedition Station?
The Pal Expedition Station can be unlocked as early as you reach Level 15 and will require 2 Technology Points.
Building the Pal Expedition Station will cost the following resources:
- 20 Wood
- 20 Stone
- 5 Paldium Fragment
This is quite cheap and a good way to obtain resources passively during the earlier stages of the game but keep in mind, you need to unlock the locations as well.
How To Unlock Expedition Destinations?
Each Expedition Destination is tied to one of the Tower Bosses that you face in the game and with everyone that you defeat, a destination is unlocked.
This makes progress connected to the expeditions, which kind of brings a whole balance to the game when it comes to auto-farming.
