How To Summon & Defeat Xenolord in Palworld

Xenolord, Invader from Space is a Raid Boss that was introduced with the release of the Feybreak Update, providing you with a way to obtain its Pal Egg and other rewards.

With Feybreak being the latest update introduced to Palworld, this Raid Boss serves as one of the toughest challenges that you will be facing during the endgame phase.

As a combination of both Dark and Dragon, this enemy can be quite a challenge but thankfully there are ways for you to prepare for this battle.

How To Summon Xenolord?

To summon Xenolord, you will first need to build a Summoning Altar, which can be unlocked from the Technology Menu (under Ancient Technology) once you reach Level 32.

Once you have built a Summoning Altar, you will need to obtain Xenolord Slab Fragments and use them to craft a Xenolord Slab. (4 Xenolord Fragments are required for each Xenolord Slab)

Xenolord Slab Fragments can be obtained by completing Feybreak Dungeons located all around Feybreak Island as well as rewards from expeditions from a Pal Expedition Station.

Interacting with the Summoning Altar will allow you to place a slab into it and once you have placed the Xenolord Slab, close the menu and press the “Summon Powerful Pal” button/key near it.

Keep in mind that summoning Xenolord or any other Raid Boss will turn your base into a battleground, which can result in structures being destroyed and Pals becoming incapacitated.

How To Defeat Xenolord?

Xenolord has a wide arsenal of attacks, which include Dark and Dragon active skills that are strong against either Neutral or Dark Pals.

The best choice of Pals to use against Xenolord would be those who are strong against Dragon or Dark Pals, which would be Dragon or Ice Pals since they can deal more damage.

Ensuring that your Pals are condensed and are at max level will give you a better chance of coming out victorious against this Raid Boss.

A good way to defeat Xenolord would be to utilize several Ice Pals as they all have a chance to freeze the Raid Boss and this makes it a sitting duck for further attacks.

Ensuring that the Pals at the base have all eaten food that increases their attack is also a good way to quickly drain Xenolord’s health.

Xenolord will be able to use the following active skills against you:

  • Ancient Civilization Core
  • Xenolord Ultra Slab
  • Huge Dark Egg (Xenolord)
  • Power Fruit
  • Life Lotus (Small)
  • Training Crystal
  • Ancient Civilization Parts
  • Ruby

Verdict

Xenolord has powerful attacks that can easily damage a group of Pals, making it sometimes best to have your Pals equipped with ranged active skills so they don’t move close to the Raid Boss.

Ice Pals offer a good chance to win the fight since they will take less damage from Xenolord and will also deal more damage to the Raid Boss.

Using a Flying Pal to stay above the fight can give you a good amount of distance to use ranged attacks and it is advisable to use Frostallion since it changes your attacks to deal Ice Damage.
