How To Unlock and Craft High Quality Bait?
Unlocking High Quality Bait requires 1 Technology Point, and this can be done from the Technology Menu once you have reached Level 22.
Once you have unlocked High Quality Bait, it can be crafted at a Primitive Workbench or better crafting stations of the same type.
The following materials are needed to craft High Quality Bait:
- 3 Pal Fluids
- 4 Tomato
- 3 Flour
Consuming these resources when crafting High Quality Bait will provide you with 10 pieces.
How To Use High Quality Bait?
High Quality Bait is used similarly to Simple Bait and the others, being an upgraded version and ideal for those who are around Level 22 and above.
If you have more than one type of bait in your inventory, you may select High Quality Bait while you are aiming or about to cast your line with any fishing rod.
This bait will automatically be used if you have no other bait in your inventory and will be consumed only if a Pal is caught or if they break free after biting.
High Quality Bait Effects
Using High Quality Bait is considered better than Simple Bait, as this will save you more time from waiting for Pals to bite.
This increases the chances that Pals will go for your bait since they often tend to swim around or may even ignore your bait.
The chances for rarer Pals to be attracted when you are fishing increase, thus providing you with a better chance to get newer Pals that are swimming underwater.
Verdict
Compared to Simple Bait, High Quality Bait may provide you with the same minigame needed to successfully catch Pals, but the time it takes before this starts is less.
This means that you can save more time when you are fishing for Pals, and the tendency for the rarer ones to take a bite, including Alpha Pals underwater.
Having a Tomato Plantation is a must for you to craft this bait since it requires Tomatoes along with the usual Pal Fluids and Flour.
