The Advanced Workshop is a crafting station introduced in the Tides of Terraria update, serving as an upgraded version of the Production Assembly Line I and II.
With its integrated advanced technology, this structure allows for crafting items faster compared to earlier structures that are available in the game.
As a compact upgrade with a modern design, it can be essential for mass-crafting different items and does not take up too much space in your base.
How To Unlock Advanced Workshop?
The Advanced Workshop can only be unlocked once your character has progressed to Level 61, which became possible when the Tides of Terraria update increased the cap to 65.
Upon reaching Level 61, you may spend 5 Technology Points to unlock the Advanced Workshop from the Technology Menu, and you may build it from the build menu by accessing the Production tab.
You will need the following materials to build the Advanced Workshop:
- 50 Coralum Ingot
- 50 Hexolite
- 30 Circuit Board
- 20 Nail
How To Use Advanced Workshop?
The Advanced Workshop works similarly to the previous crafting stations, allowing you to view the items available for crafting once you interact with it.
Once you have chosen an item to craft as well as the amount, you may start the crafting process, and this will allow Pals to work on it as long as they have the Handiwork.
Additionally, you can help out with the crafting process to speed things up, but leaving this structure will eventually have your Pals handle everything.
Advanced Workshop Crafting Speed
The Advanced Workshop currently holds the fastest time when it comes to crafting items, making it a huge boost from the Production Assembly Lines.
This speed increases even more when you have Pals that have a high Handiwork, allowing you to quickly craft a bunch of items within a small amount of time.
Just like with the Production Assembly Lines, multiple Pals may work at this structure, and each one significantly improves the speed at which items are crafted.
Verdict
When Production Assembly Lines became available, they provided a quick way to craft more advanced items, but their design was bulky, making the Advanced Workshop a decent upgrade.
Due to the size of the Advanced Workbench, you will be able to fit it into tighter spots, and along with other structures of the same tier, you can create a compact setup in your base.
Mass-crafting is essential for quickly stocking up on certain items, and the faster items are crafted, the quicker you can get a ton of experience.
