Coralum Ingots are one of the materials that were introduced when the Tides of Terraria update was released, being an advanced material for crafting and even building.
Mainly used for the production of weapons, this material is utilized for some of the strongest weapons that were added along with the update, but the ore required to make it is rare.
Crafting a ton of Coralum Ingot in advance is a good way to prepare for when your character is going to switch over to new weapons that were added with the Tides of Terraria update.
“An alloy of Corallum Ore, Ingot, and Coal. Highly resistant to energy, making it ideal for crafting weapons.”
How To Unlock and Craft Coralum Ingot?
Being one of the more advanced materials that were introduced to the game, you will find that Coralum Ingots cannot be crafted in just any type of furnace.

Verdict
Being one of the more valuable ingots in the game after the Tides of Terraria update, having a stock of Coralum Ingot is something you might want to do later.
The ammunition of the energy-based weapons will make this material high in demand, which makes it good to have a steady supply of Coralum Ore for crafting it.
Stocking up in advance, while you have not yet unlocked the other items or structures that require Coralum Ingots, can save you time later on from grinding for each one.
