The Tides of Terraria update brought several new Pals into action, and some of them surprisingly came with another variant at the same time when they were added.
Finsider Ignis was added to the game along with its original variant, but this Pal provides more benefits at the cost of an additional weakness to Water Attacks.
Similar to the original Finsider, this Pal can be a great travel companion for those who carry a lot of weapons with them, but it is also useful for players who love to use Fire Pals too.
Finsider Ignis Location Map
Finsider Ignis tends to be found around Feybreak Island, as several of the Fishing Spots on the island will have a good chance to have this Pal.
A good way to catch Finsider Ignis would be to roam around the shores or other areas where there are Fishing Spots in the water on Feybreak Island.
Aside from looking around on Feybreak Island for Fishing Spots, you can also try your luck at the Phantom Isle, as Finsider Ignis can also be caught there.
Finsider Ignis Uses
Finsider Ignis is another type of Pal that can be useful in a party, especially if you have a team full of this Pal, since it can boost the attack power of other Fire Pals.
When this Pal is in your team, you can worry less about the weight of your weapons as its Partner Skill reduces their weight, making it perfect if you tend to farm a lot of items.
Assigning Finsider Ignis to a base will give you a Pal that can either work on structures that require Kindling or Watering, and it will also carry items around from time to time.

Ember Chamber
Similar to its original variant, Finsider Ignis also provides you with less weight when it comes to your weapons, allowing you to carry more without too much of a burden.
In addition to this, Finsider Ignis increases the attack power of Fire Pals in your team, which includes other Finsider Ignis that you have.
Work Suitability
Finsider Ignis bears the same work skills as its original variant, but now it also has the Kindling work skill, allowing it to provide fire to structures that require it.
- Kindling (Level 2)
- Transporting (Level 1)
- Watering (Level 2)
Finsider Ignis Possible Drops
- Leather
- Small Pal Soul
- Flame Organ
Verdict
A whole team of Finsider Ignis can boost each other, giving you a stacking bonus to their Attack Power, and most likely, you will be able to set enemies on fire.
Finsider Ignis is perfect if you want a Pal that can boost the Attack Power of your other Fire Pals and help you out by reducing the weight of all of the weapons in your inventory.
Whether you want a single Finsider Ignis on your team to boost other Pals or choose to attack enemies with a full set of these fiery Pals, they tend to be quite handy in battle and when exploring.
