Azurobe was initially one of the earliest Water and Dragon Pals that you could come across in Palworld and now a Ice variation of this Pal has emerged.
An Ice and Dragon Pal, now called Azurobe Cryst, has been found with the release of the Tides of Terraria update and can be found in different locations, but mainly around Feybreak Island.
Utilizing this Pal can be beneficial when you need to deal damage to other Dragon Pals because riding Azurobe Cryst will modify your attacks to deal Ice Damage.

You can fish Azurobe Cryst out of the water when it comes to certain Fishing Spots found around the southern part of Feybreak. (Around the Frozen Coral Hill)
There are several places where you can find Fishing Spots around the Frozen Coral Hill, and all you need to do is check the water for Fish Shadows. (Fishing in them has a good chance to have this Pal)
Aside from the Frozen Coral Hill, you may also find Fishing Spots where Azurobe Cryst may be fished out in the following locations:
- Isle of The Glacial Core
- Rayne Syndicate Platform Rig (Level 55)
- Rayne Syndicate Platform Rig (Level 60)
Azurobe Cryst may also be obtained from a Large Fishing Pond. (Large Fish Shadow)
Azurobe Cryst Uses
Being an Ice Variation of Azurobe, this Pal no longer can provide you with Watering and instead, it has gained the Cooling work skill.
This allows Azurobe Cryst to help out when it comes to preserving your items that have an expiry timer, by working at structures such as a Cooler or Refrigerator.
When it comes to fights, Azurobe Cryst can be ridden, and its Partner Skill will alter your attack type to deal Ice Damage, which can be effective against certain enemies.

When riding Azurobe Cryst, you will be able to safely travel across water, but this isn’t all; you also have your attacks changed to deal Ice Damage.
This can be a great way to easily deal more damage to Dragon Pals since Ice Damage is more effective against them.
Riding Azurobe Cryst requires that you have the Azurobe Cryst Saddle. (Unlock at Level 29)

Azurobe Cryst does not have the watering work skill that its original variant has, since this has been replaced with the Cooling work skill.

With the ability to freeze enemies and deal immense damage with Dragon attacks, Azurobe Cryst can be perfect as a battle mount as well as a way to swim across the vast ocean.
Should you require a Pal that can help out with preserving your items, Azurobe Cryst can do a good job since it has Level 3 in Cooling, and this makes it more efficient than other Ice Pals.
