Like you many are facing this fatal error issue. The game “Firefighting Simulator – The Squad” is getting crashed after the fatal error message.

You might have come across something like this on your desktop with the message popup on windows “The UE4-FG game has crashed and will close”.

Many have lost the game progress due to this issue and this has frustrated many addict gamer in the community. The next question that arises in your mind can this issue be fixed or not? Let see how to fix this below.

How to Fix This Issue?

Even, I’ve encountered this issue and in the last 30 minutes atleast the game might have crashed 5-6 times. So, I was very frustrated like you and looking for a solution on many gaming communities and interacted with my gaming friends but even they didn’t have any solution for this issue at that moment

Then, what I did?

I used to check Steam Community regularly to find latest gaming updates and like wise I did the same couple of days back. I was amazed to see one guy has posted a solution for this and I immediately thought to share that with readers.

Below is the solution he gave to fix that issue.

To be on the safe side, please try to deactivate all running anti virus and/or anti malware software when starting the game.

I did the same like what he has suggested and to my surprise the game didn’t crash for the past couple of hrs. So, I would suggest whoever is reading to do the same.

Even on Steam another user confirmed the same like turning off the Antivirus did the job for him.

Emisoft Anti-Malware reacted with the game. The program did not have a tray icon, so I had forgotten it was installed at all. I simply un-installed it, but I am sure there is a way to make exceptions or temp disable it.

Anti-malware often reacts to denuvo, and its prob the cause. not the game it self.

Only when I looked in Windows Event Viewer did I find the causing program of the crash. Hit windows key, and type: event

Then sort by date/time, this might give good information on cause of crash.
For me the good info was in the warnings made by windows right after the error
