As Eris Morn continues preparing, Xivu Arath and Savathun are making their move against her Throne World, which requires your intervention.
Eris Morn has tasked you with assaulting Xivu Arath’s Hive brood before they can attempt an assault on her throne.
To do this, you will take up a blade and make your way to Xivu Arath’s forces and cut them down to stir up chaos.
How To Get Bloodied Blades Quest?
Writ: Bloodied Paths can be claimed from the Shaping Slab once you have reached Quest Step 4 of Act III: Crossed Blades.
This quest is available along with the other 6 Vengeance Quests, which you need to complete at least 4 to proceed with Act III: Crossed Blades.
Bloodied Blades Quest Steps
Step 1: While on the Path of Ambition, defeat Hive in the Nether with a Sword or Glaive
Since you will be taking the fight against Xivu Arath’s forces with a blade this means that you will need to be using a Sword or Glaive to defeat Hive combatants.
Make sure to set your path to the Path of Ambition, which can be done in Eris Morn’s apartment near the Shaping Slab.
You will need to find Hive enemies anywhere in the system (including The Nether and other activities) and defeat combatants until you reach 100% progress.
Choosing to use a Sword may help you defeat enemies quickly while a Glaive has ranged attacks and infinite melee attacks that you can use. (Whichever is more convenient for you)
Step 2: Debrief at the Shaping Slab in the Last City
Once you have finished cutting up the Hive with your Glaive or Sword, you may now return to the Shaping Slab to complete the quest and obtain your rewards.
Writ: Bloodied Blades Quest Rewards
After slicing up Xivu Arath’s forces, returning to the Shaping Slab and completing the quest will reward you with the following:
- Seasonal Gear (Common)
- Sigil Shards
- Essence of Desire
Verdict
When completing this quest, some may prefer to use a Glaive due to it having unlimited melee attacks as well as its ranged attacks counting towards progression.
Xivu Arath and Savathun had originally planned to assault the Throne World together and weakening one side can play a huge part in cutting down their overall forces.
Now that you have taken out a portion of Xivu Arath’s forces, the Throne World will have a better chance of surviving the assault from the siblings.
