To remake the Willbreaker, you find yourself taking on multiple quests to obtain Willbreaker shards in Act II: Rites of the Deep quest.
One of the quests that you may complete to obtain a Willbreaker Shard is the Willbreaker: Dreadnaught quest and this pits you against Taken enemies.
Not only will you need to find Willbreaker Fragments by completing Episode: Heresy Activities, but you will also need to focus on fighting more Taken later.
How To Get Willbreaker: Dreadnaught?
The Willbreaker: Dreadnaught quest is obtainable from the Shaping Slab found within Eris Morn’s Apartment upon reaching Quest Step 5 of Act II: Rites of the Deep quest.
Act II: Rites of the Deep requires that you obtain at least 3 Willbreaker Shards and you may choose from 5 different quests to do this from the Shaping Slab.
Willbreaker: Dreadnaught Quest Steps
Step 1: Travel to the Nether and Court of Blades to claim fragments of Willbreaker from the Dreadnaught’s expanse.
To complete this quest step, you will need to begin The Nether or Court of Blades activities and progress through them to the point where you may unlock chests.
These are the chests that appear after a boss has been defeated in the nether or when chests appear in the Court of Blades after defeating challengers.
You will need to open a total of 5 chests in any of these activities to obtain enough Willbreaker Shards.
Step 2: Fuse the Willbreaker fragments into a complete shard
There are two ways for you to fuse the Willbreaker Fragments into a complete shard and this is done by either defeating a Taken Final Boss in a strike/dungeon or defeating Powerful Taken.
Defeating a Final Boss in a strike or dungeon must have a Taken Boss at the end to count while defeating Powerful Taken requires you to take out several Taken enemies.
Step 3: Return to the Shaping Slab with your newly reclaimed shard of Willbreaker
After completing Quest Step 2, head to the Shaping Slab in Eris Morn’s Apartment and you will be able to complete the quest after interacting with it.
Willbreaker: Dreadnaught Rewards
After defeating a Taken Boss or Powerful Taken, claiming the Willbreaker Shard from the Shaping Slab will complete the quest and reward you with the following:
- Willbreaker Shard: Nether
- Seasonal Gear (Common)
- Sigil Shards
- Essence of Desire
Verdict
Obtaining the Willbreaker: Dreadnaught quest along with other Willbreaker Quests can be a good way to hit two birds with one stone.
The Nether is a quick way to complete this quest as you fight several bosses in one run, but the Court of Blades works as well.
Make sure that the boss you fight at the end of a strike or dungeon is a Taken Boss or else Quest Step 2 won’t be completed.
