You have been tasked with finding Willbreaker Shards to forge a sword that can cut through the material plane, and this is done by completing certain quests.
Shattered Will: Vorok Sentinel Eternal is one of these quests and this involves searching for a secret boss that can be found aboard the Dreadnaught.
Some Guardians may have already encountered Vorok in their past runs but now, there is a new reason to hunt down this Taken enemy.
How To Get Shattered Will: Vorok, Sentinel Eternal?
The Shattered Will: Vorok Sentinel Eternal quest may be obtained from the Shaping Slab once you have reached Quest Step 5 in Act II: Rites of the Deep quest.
Rites of the Deep is the main quest for Act II and during this quest, you need to get 5 Willbreaker Shards to proceed. (You get to choose from 5 quests that reward shards)
Shattered Will: Vorok, Sentinel Eternal Quest Steps
Step 1: In the Nether, defeat Vorok, Sentinel Eternal and claim his Sword
Vorok, Sentinel Eternal may go by a different name (he is still called Vorok) and you will need to find him in The Nether.
This can be done by interacting with the 3 plates that are found in the different locations within the Nether, which you need to interact with.
Interacting with a plate will cause a green flame to start burning and when all 3 have been lit, Vorok will spawn, and you may defeat him. (This will grant you Vorok’s Cleaver)
Step 2: Defeat targets with Swords to entice the dark shard of Willbreaker
After completing the first Quest Step, proceed by heading to any location and begin defeating targets with Swords. (Reach 100% progress)
Step 3: With the shard of Willbreaker reclaimed, return to the Shaping Slab
Head back to Eris Morn’s Apartment and interact with the Shaping Slab to claim your rewards and complete the quest.
Shattered Will: Vorok Sentinel Eternal Rewards
After defeating Vorok, defeating the enemy with sword kills, and returning to the Shaping Slab, you will be rewarded with the following:
- Willbreaker Shard: Vorok
- Seasonal Gear (Common)
- Sigil Shards
- Essence of Desire
Verdict
Finding Vorok can be a bit difficult for those who are new to The Nether but eventually, you can easily summon him after finding his location within a few runs.
Vorok will always be summoned the same way, making it easy to return to locations where you know the plates that need to be interacted with may be found.
Getting Sword kills can be done anywhere to progress with this quest, which gives you the choice of either focusing on defeating enemies or doing other activities along with the quest.
