Exploring The Nether can result in you finding many secrets aboard the Dreadnaught and one of these is a secret boss that goes by the name Vorok.
Vorok, Sentinel Eternal (Also known as Vorok, Excise Eternal) can be summoned in one of the different areas aboard the Dreadnaught each run.
Defeating this boss will allow you to obtain certain rewards and is also a requirement for one of the quests that provide you with Willbreaker Shards.
How To Summon Vorok (Burning Plates)?
In order to summon Vorok, you will need to locate 3 Burning Plates in one of the areas aboard the Dreadnaught and interact with them. (You will light them of course)
Interacting with a plate will ignite it, causing a green flame to appear and once all have been lit, Vorok will appear and may be defeated.
All Vorok Sentinel Eternal Boss Locations
(Burning Plate Locations)
1) Trenchway
When entering the area where you fight the Tormentor Boss, heading to the very right side of the area will allow you to find the 3 plates.
2) Hall of Souls
Just below the platform where you fight the Subjugator, you will find the 3 plates scattered in this area and may access it before or after the boss fight.
3) Mausoleum
When exploring the Mausoleum, there is a broken bridge that you can go under and here you will find 3 of the plates for summoning Vorok.
How To Defeat Vorok?
Defeating Vorok is quite easy as long as you focus on shooting at his head since this is his weak spot and you might want to avoid fighting him when there are other enemies.
Vorok will continuously move up to you and perform a heavy attack with his sword and this can easily be avoided.
He also tends to pull you towards him using Strand Abilities but this can also be dodged by moving out of the way.
Rewards For Defeating Vorok
Defeating Vorok will cause a chest to spawn, which is similar to the other chest that you find in the Dreadnaught that provides you with loot.
Additionally, when Vorok is defeated, he has a good chance to drop a Boon that you may pick up for a boost in The Nether.
Shattered Will: Vorok Sentinel Eternal Quest
In Act II: Rites of the Deep quest, you will need to find Willbreaker Shards to progress and one of them involves Vorok.
In the Shattered Will: Vorok, Sentinel Eternal quest, you need to summon Vorok and defeat him before using Swords to obtain a Willbreaker Fragment.
Verdict
Searching for Vorok is easy once you know where to find him and this tends to be a walk in the park since his spawn location is fixed.
All you need to do is summon Vorok using the 3 plates and defeat him to reap the rewards but this can only be done in one location per run of The Nether.
Vorok is a slow enemy but he has a lot of health, which makes it best to fire at him and run away continuously until he is dealt with.
