Shattered Shards: An Entity Manifested is one of the 5 Willbreaker Shard Quests that you need to complete to progress with Act II: Rites of the Deep quest.
This quest takes you back to the Cosmodrome where you first started as you will be hunting the Expressions of Many who are scattered around the different areas.
Only by defeating all of these targets will you be able to manifest a Willbreaker Shard from the Cosmodrome, bringing you one step closer to reforging the Willbreaker.
How To Get Shattered Shards: An Entity Manifested?
The Shattered Shards: An Entity Manifested quest may be obtained along with the other 5 Willbreaker Shard quests from the Shaping Slab.
You will need to obtain at least 3 Willbreaker Shards to progress with the Act II: Rites of the Deep quest and each of the Willbreaker Shards Quests will provide you with 1 shard.
Shattered Shards: An Entity Manifested Quest Steps
Step 1: Locate and destroy the Expressions of Many
Your main objective will be to find 3 Expressions of Many and destroy them, which takes you to the Cosmodrome as they are all found there.
The following are the locations of each of the Expressions of Many:
- Expression of Many, the Envious – Lunar Complex
- Expression of Many, the Covetous – Gateway
- Expression of Many, the Jealous – Dock 13
Each of the Expressions of Many will appear on your map of the Cosmodrome and you may track them to easily locate and destroy them.
Step 2: Return to the Shaping Slab with the shard of Willbreaker reclaimed
After destroying the Expressions of Many, head back to the Shaping Slab in Eris Morn’s Apartment to complete this quest.
Shattered Shards: An Entity Manifested Rewards
After each of the Expressions of Many has been defeated, returning to the Shaping Slab and completing this quest will provide you with the following rewards:
- Willbreaker Shard: Realms
- Seasonal Gear (Common)
- Sigil Shards
- Essence of Desire
Verdict
The Expressions of Many are not that difficult to find and defeat as each of them can be tracked for you to follow a waypoint to their location.
Expressions of Many appear as taken entities and are a bit tougher than the other Taken that you encounter but are still susceptible to headshots and being weakened by abilities.
While making your way to the Gateway where you hunt down the Expression of Many, the Covetous, you are likely to run into the Expression of Many, the Jealous.
