With a new season available, Destiny 2 has players progressing their way through The Edge of Fate quest, which has multiple quests within it.
These are known as Strangelet Quests as they require that you progress through them until you eventually obtain the Strangelet Capsules needed for the Altar of Relativity.
To obtain Strangelet Capsules, there will be a quest that needs to be completed for each of the daily regions on Kepler.
How To Get The Strangelet Capsules?
Strangelet Capsules will be obtainable once you have progressed with a Strangelet Quest, which often allows you to obtain the capsule at the end.
Aside from the very first Stranglet Capsule that you obtain from the introductory mission called “The Invitation,” there will be 4 other Strangelet Capsules that you need to get.
The following are the ways to obtain each Strangelet Capsule in The Edge of Fate:
- The Invitation Strangelet Capsule – Obtained in “The Invitation” introductory mission.
- Exile’s Accord Strangelet Capsule – Obtained in the “Gouge” mission.
- Central Academy Strangelet Capsule – Obtained in the “Commencement” mission.
- Gorge Strangelet Capsule – Obtained in the “Quarantine” mission.
- Outer Steppes Strangelet Capsule – Obtained in the “Charge” mission.
All Strangelet Quests
1) The Exile’s Accord Strangelet
You meet Lodi in the Exile’s Accord and begin your search for the Strangelet Capsule while unlocking new tech and pushing through enemy territory.
With the help of the Relocator and Matterspark abilities, you sabotage the Exiles’ operations and battle their key forces across multiple zones.
After defeating their Prime Servitor, you recover the Strangelet Capsule and unlock new rewards, including a landing zone and upgrades.

2) The Central Academy Strangelet
Another search leads you to the Aionian Campus, where you assist The Emeritus and Dean Rebecca in exchange for information on a Strangelet Capsule.
You help rescue scientists, defend key locations, and push back Exile and Vex threats threatening the campus and its people.
With their support and your efforts, you secure the Strangelet Capsule and unlock new rewards, including a landing zone and upgrades.

3) The Outer Steppes Strangelet
Following leads from Lodi, you travel to the Stacks in search of another Strangelet Capsule and uncover a ransacked lab tied to Exile activity.
You fight off Stasis and Strand forces, recover stolen tech, and unlock the Mattermorph ability while uncovering the truth behind a deadly attack.
After confronting the saboteur and completing your mission, you secure the Outer Steppes Strangelet Capsule and prepare to return it to the Altar of Relativity.

4) The Gorge Strangelet
With only one Strangelet Capsule left to find, you join Orin in the Gorge to stop the Vex and uncover their plans involving The Nine.
You gather Accelerons, disrupt their operations, and gain an upgrade to Matterspark as you fight through Vex-controlled zones.
After defeating the final Vex Mind, you recover the last Strangelet Capsule and prepare to return it to the Altar of Relativity for final integration.

Verdict
During The Edge of Fate quest, you will need to find all of the Strangelet Capsules, as these need to be integrated into the Altar of Relativity.
Doing so will allow the Aionian’s to utilize this artifact, which is a bridge between the Aionian Science with their Spiritual Belief.
Once all the Strangelet Capsules have been integrated into the Altar of Relativity, you will be closer to completing The Edge of Fate, which has you fighting Archon Levazsk later.
