Since these cookies require Chitin Powder, you will need to defeat Hive enemies as they have a chance to drop it when defeated.
Finishing Touch on the other hand needs a more tedious approach as this requires you to defeat enemies with finishers.
The best way to get both Chitin Powder and Finishing Touch is to use a weapon to damage hive enemies and to do Finishers to them.

Hive can be quite tough sometimes but there are certain Lost Sectors where you can easily defeat a lot of them.
It is best to use a weapon that does not deal too much damage or you may accidentally get the final blow with your weapon.
You pretty much just need to spam finishers on Hive enemies to get what you need then worry about Essence of Dawning afterward.
