Praxic Blade Intrinsic Traits

Ranged Weapon

You may throw the Praxic Blade by pressing “Heavy Attack” while wielding it, which will send the blade to seek out multiple targets.

Holding “Heavy Attack” will cause the blade to be thrown, moving straight forward to where you are aiming, while releasing “Heavy Attack” will cause the blade to return.

Praxic Blade Catalyst

The Praxic Blade has 4 catalysts, which alter the way that the Exotic Sword functions, providing users with the ability to choose additional effects or modifications to the weapon.

The following are the Praxic Blade catalysts:

  • Echoing Blade – Increases the number of targets that the thrown Sword can hit. Obtained from the Exotic Fire and Ice Mission.
  • Upper Hand – Increases the damage of the thrown Sword and reflected shots while on higher ground than the target. Obtained from the Exotic Fire and Ice Mission.
  • Hyperblade – Reflecting shots causes you to become amplified and grants the Praxic Blade increased lunge distance for a single swing. Obtained from the Exotic Fire and Ice Mission.
  • Energy Conduit – Grants health regeneration based on the number of targets hit by the thrown Sword. Obtained from the Equilibrium Dungeon.

Verdict

The Praxic Blade excels at combining fast, fluid melee attacks with projectile deflection, giving Guardians both offensive and defensive versatility in chaotic combat scenarios.

The ability to throw the blade and deflect attacks makes up for when you are facing enemies that are further away from you, before you close the gap by lunging at them.
