Destiny 2 Bluejay Quest Steps

Destiny2 Bluejay Quest

While assisting Quinn Laghari, you have already restored 2 of the damaged memorials and are on to your third one.

This memorial belongs to Bluejay, who was a hacker and criminal back in the day but used his skills later to save the city.

During this quest, you will need to participate in one of the Partition activities that can be found in Neomuna.

How to Get the Bluejay Quest?

The Bluejay quest will be unlocked after you have completed the Maelstrom quest, which is where you previously restored the second memorial.

Once the Maelstrom quest has been completed, you may obtain the Bluejay quest by visiting the City Archivist, Quinn Laghari.

Step 1: Visit Nimbus

After obtaining this quest from Quinn, you will need to speak to Nimbus as he was close to Bluejay in the past and can provide you access to her old work.

  • Visit Nimbus

Step 2: Defeat Combatants in the Current Vex Incursion Zone With Strand and Obtain Polymorphic Engine

This quest step has two objectives, which is to first defeat enemies in the Vex Incursion Zone with the Strand subclass.

You will also have to open a Terminal Overload Key Chest to obtain a Polymorphic Engine after completing a Terminal Overload activity.

  • Acquire engine
  • Acquire 8 fragments

Step 3: Complete the Partition Activity

Depending on which one is active, you will need to head over and complete a Partition activity, which can be found in Neomuna.

The Partition activity requires you to enter a portal to start a mission, which then sets you off to explore the VexNet.

  • Complete Partition activity

Step 4: Return to the Hall of Heroes to Repair Bluejay’s Memorial

The memorial will be marked on your waypoint and sits within the Hall of Heroes, which you must interact with to restore.

  • Restore memorial

Step 5: Return to Quinn to Discuss the Next Steps

Bluejay Quest Rewards

Completing the Bluejay quest will reward you with a Prime Engram, which will be turned into a random legendary gear.

Additionally, you will now have access to Weekly Bounties as well as access to the Partition activities found in Neomuna.

Verdict

Experiencing the Partition activity was related to what Bluejay had done in the past, being a hacker in the past and all.

You have successfully restored her memorial and this leaves one more to go until you have completed the tasks given by the Archivist.

Now all that remains is the memorial of Strider, but this might be the most challenging of them all as it has an Exotic Weapon as a reward.
