The Iceblade of Narin update introduces four new Augment Mods that give Oraxia, Uriel, Frost, and Grendel additional ways to use their abilities.
These Mods introduce new offensive effects, improve mobility, and provide additional weapon damage, allowing players to experiment with different builds.
Each Augment Mod can be obtained through specific Syndicates, making them accessible to players who have earned enough Standing or can trade with other players.
All New Augment Mods in Iceblade of Narin Update
Four new Augment Mods were added in the Iceblade of Narin update, each modifying a different Warframe ability or passive.
1) Brood’s Oversurge (Oraxia)
Brood’s Oversurge enhances Oraxia’s Widow’s Brood ability, granting her Scuttlers Electricity Damage and allowing them to be directed toward specific enemies.
Holding the ability sends all active Scuttlers toward the targeted enemy, causing them to deal 2,000 Electricity Damage in an area.
The resulting attack also applies Electricity Status Effects, giving Oraxia another way to damage and disrupt groups of enemies.
Brood’s Oversurge can be obtained from New Loka or Cephalon Suda using Syndicate Standing.
2) Infernum (Uriel)
Infernum enhances Uriel’s Infernalis ability, allowing him to release Fireballs that deal 1,500 Heat Damage to enemies.
Collecting Vythelas’ Runes during flight increases the size of his Fireball volleys, allowing him to launch more projectiles.
Enemies struck by these Fireballs also contribute toward charging Brimstone, creating an additional interaction between Uriel’s abilities.
Infernum can be obtained from The Perrin Sequence or Steel Meridian using Syndicate Standing.
3) Cold Front (Frost)
Cold Front modifies Frost’s Snow Globe, attaching the protective barrier to him so that it follows his movements instead of remaining stationary.
The attached Snow Globe has a smaller radius, but each frozen enemy killed increases its health by 4%, allowing it to become more durable during combat.
Cold Front can also be equipped in the Exilus Mod slot, freeing up a regular Mod slot for other improvements to Frost’s build.
Cold Front can be obtained from Cephalon Suda or Steel Meridian using Syndicate Standing.
4) Gastroparesis (Grendel)
Gastroparesis enhances Grendel’s passive by granting additional Gas Damage to his Primary and Secondary weapons whenever he consumes enemies.
Each consumed enemy provides an additional 15% Gas Damage, allowing Grendel to increase his weapon damage by consuming multiple targets.
The augment provides an additional offensive benefit to his ability to consume enemies, making it useful for builds that combine his abilities with firearms.
Gastroparesis can be obtained from Steel Meridian or Red Veil using Syndicate Standing.
Other Augment Changes in Iceblade of Narin
Alongside the four new Augment Mods, the update also introduces two major changes to Banshee’s existing Augments as part of her rework.
Sonic Siphon
Previously known as Sonic Fracture, Sonic Siphon now grants Banshee bonus Armor for 20 seconds when Sonic Boom hits an enemy.
The bonus can reach a maximum of 1,500 Armor, and striking another enemy refreshes its duration.
Gaseous Quake
Previously known as Resonating Quake, Gaseous Quake changes Sound Quake into a channeled ability that deals additional Gas Damage and applies Gas Status Effects.
Its damage and Energy consumption increase during channeling, while its affected area persists briefly after the ability ends.
