Destiny 2 The Edge of Fate Armor Sets & Bonuses Guide

With the introduction of The Edge of Fate to Destiny 2, there were several added features, and one of these is the inclusion of more Armor Set Bonuses.

Guardians can now get their hands on Armor Sets that have certain bonuses depending on how many pieces of gear they have equipped from each set.

These new armor sets are not tied to the season and instead provide you with certain bonuses that can be used in different scenarios or with different builds.

What Are Armor Set Bonuses?

Equipping a gear from a specific set of armor will provide you with an Armor Set Bonus once you have equipped 2 or 4 pieces of the set.

Starting at 2 pieces of gear, you will gain the set’s first Armor Set Bonus, and once you have 4 equipped, you will gain the second bonus.

This allows you to have a total of 1 Exotic Gear equipped along with 4 gears from a set to complete it, providing you with both Armor Set Bonuses.

Armor Set Bonuses are applied to your character, affecting their builds, and these effects may be checked when viewing your armor.

Verdict

Depending on your build and playstyle, some of these sets of armor may be better for your character, making it necessary to plan things out.

Some Guardians tend to have 2 pieces from different armor sets, and this will activate the first armor bonus for each of them.

Armor Bonuses work well with your builds if you obtain the Armor Archetype that fits your playstyle, which can sometimes make it necessary to grind a bit.
