Cerrigar is now home to several of the Horadric Relics thanks to your efforts, as your search turned up a lot of them being found.
To complete the last set of relics, which are tied to Deckard Cain, you set out once more to find whatever can be found.
Beginning with a tip from Davish, it seems that you will turn up with another batch of relics that may soon be kept safe in Cerrigar under the watchful eye of Bryona and the others.
How To Get The Kin of Cain Seasonal Quest?
The Kin of Cain is the last Seasonal Quest that you will obtain in Season 9: Sins of the Horadrim and becomes available after you have completed The Priestess Horadrim.
The Kin of Cain Quest Walkthrough
Once the quest starts, speak with Davish at Firebreak Manor, and he will tell you about one of the relics that he has been informed about.
This leads you to Gea Kul, where the area around the northern entrance will be marked, and the relics will need to be searched for.
Some players have had issues searching for it, but it turns out, you simply need to click on the body of the Dead Scavenger to get the Cracked Jewelry. (No name appears, so some players miss this.)
Upon reading the Scavenger’s Notes after obtaining the Cracked Jewelry, it is hinted that the next relic is in the Windswept Cabin. (Home of Lorath)
Head inside the Windswept Cabin, and there will be a Horadric Strongbox that you may interact with to get the Gnarled Staff.
The last relic will be revealed to be in the Yshari Sanctum, which can be found in Caldeum (Kehjistan), close to the Imperial Library. (You can teleport here to get there quickly)
Enter the Yshari Sanctum and begin exploring, which will eventually reveal a nearby Chest that will be marked, and opening it will cause the Book of Cain to drop.
Whether you complete the dungeon or not, you may head back to Cerrigar, where you have placed the other relics in the previous quests.
Place all 3 relics in the areas where they belong, and once they are all in place, this will cause the quest to come to an end.
The Kin of Cain Quest Rewards
After finding the rest of the Horadric Relics and placing them in the marked areas in Cerrigar, the quest will be complete, and you will receive the following rewards:
- XP
- Gold
- Herb Cache
Verdict
When you first started, Cerrigar was empty, and Bryona was unsure of what her purpose would be after a long time without a mission.
Now that she is focused on watching over Cerrigar and the last of the Horadric Relics, she has been given a new purpose, and with your help, the relics are now safe.
This serves as the last quest involving the search for the Horadric Relics, and now that everything is in order, it is time for you to continue causing mayhem for the demons who stand in your way.
