It is clear that a demon has been targeting the Iron Wolves but it is unknown whether they are the only victims that have been claimed by this evil power.
Soudeh The Anvil has admitted that she has begun to hear the voices and that they are calling to her as well, but before she lets you in on more, her trust must be earned.
You will need to continue battling the demons in areas affected by the Helltide and later help Soudeh The Anvil once she has made her decision.

The Voice in The Night Quest Walkthrough
Just like with the previous quests of the Season of Loot Reborn, you will need to Honor Rank to 9 with the Iron Wolves before you can progress.
Defeating enemies in Helltide areas is the only way to do this and you can speed things up by opening the Tortured Gift of Mysteries chests in these areas.
Once you have reached Rank 9 with the Iron Wolves, you will need to head back to Soudeh at the Iron Wolves Encampment to speak with her.
After speaking with Soudeh, she reveals that she has been hearing the demon’s voice and will attempt to use herself as bait and you are to help her.
You will need to meet up with Soudeh at the Central Plateau (Lower Desert) where the location of the Necrotic Tomb may be found.
Once you find Soudeh, she will talk to you before leading you into the Necrotic Tomb and you will need to follow her inside.
After entering the Necrotic Tomb, you will need to fight alongside her as you both search for the demon that has been turning into the Iron Wolves.
Eventually, the two of you will find the demon, who is accompanied by its disciples, and it will speak with Soudeh briefly. (Demon is called Exsari, Blood Maiden)
Soudeh will resist its offer no matter how tempting it is and you will need to slay the demon because it has a hold on Soudeh. (You will need to defeat its minions before you can damage it)
Once the Blood Maiden has been defeated, you may now speak with Soudeh before heading back to the Iron Wolves’ camp.
Upon arriving at the camp, all that is left to do is to speak to Soudeh and she will thank you for what you have done, which ends the quest.
The Voice in The Night Quest Rewards
Completing the Voice in The Night ends the questline for the Season of Loot Reborn, which rewards you with the following:
- XP
- Gold
- Salvage Cache
- Iron Wolf Medallion (Legendary)
Verdict
The demon that was luring the Iron Wolves and other victims turned out to be a Blood Maiden, which is like the ones you find in the Helltide during the season.
For a moment it seemed like the offer of restoring Caldeum was something that might have made Soudeh give in, she resisted till the very end.
While this demon may have been defeated, there will always be more and this makes the Iron Wolves and everyone else still a target, making it necessary to always be on the guard.
