If you have encountered a Tarantriss during your explorations on Feybreak Island, you might be surprised to find a Field Boss variant of this Pal.
Tarantriss, Tactician of the Thread Realm serves as one of the Alpha Bosses that you may encounter when you adventure around the Frozen Coral Hill.
Defeating this Pal may help with your progression throughout Feybreak Island and capturing it can provide you with another useful Pal to add to your collection.
Tarantriss Location Map
Tarantriss, Tactician of the Thread Realm can be found on top of an elevated platform-like hill within the region of the Frozen Coral Hill.
Its spawn area is located at (-1340, -1428), and reaching this area will require a lot of climbing if you don’t have a Flying Pal available to use to reach it.
Fighting Tarantriss, Tactician of the Thread Realm
At Level 57, Tarantriss will have access to a lot of Dark Active Skills and these will be either Poison or Blind and if you are unlucky, both.
Poison can seriously drain your health over time and being affected by Blind will hinder your vision, putting you at a severe disadvantage.
Make sure to avoid the attacks from the Field Boss and its companions (2 Tarantriss will fight alongside it) and try to take them out before focusing on your main target.
Tarantriss can use the Webstrike Impact Active Skill, which sends out a projectile that entangles you before it rushes to attack. (Dodge this as soon as possible)
Using Dragon Pals is advisable as they can deal more damage to Dark Pals and will be more resistant to Dark Damage. (This should make the fight much easier)

Defeating Tarantriss (Tactician of the Thread Realm) will reward you with the Tarantriss Bounty Token, which provides you with Dark Damage Enhancement. (Small)
Verdict
Tarantriss on its own may be an easy opponent to defeat but when accompanied by the others, things can get a little rough due to the Status Conditions that they can apply.
Focusing on the Field Boss last can make the fight much easier as the other Tarantriss will be less difficult to take down.
While Dragon Pals is a good choice against Tarantriss, as long as you can dodge her attacks and deal a good amount of damage, any Pal will suffice.
