Starryon Boss (Location, Drops, Defeating & Bounty Token)

Starryon, Midnight Blue Mane is a Level 57 Field Boss and an Alpha Variant of Starryon, a Dark Pal that was added to Palworld in the Feybreak Update.

This Field Boss is encountered earlier when you first begin exploring Feybreak Island and is extremely territorial, which often ends up with it attacking anyone that goes near it.

Accompanied by 2 other Starryon, this Field Boss can bring on a tough fight for those who have a lower level than it and its companions but defeating it does have its rewards.

Starryon Location Map

You may find this Field Boss and 2 other Starryon that accompany it roaming around in the Scorched Ashland located around the northeast part of Feybreak Island.

Starryon, Midnight Blue Mane spawns at around (-752, -939) and will often be wandering near the pond with red water.

Fighting Starryon, Midnight Blue Mane

What makes the fight with Starryon a bit of a hassle is when it uses its Exclusive Skill called Lethal Step, which is meant to confuse its enemies before they attack you.

Other than its Exclusive Skill, Starryon mainly utilized Dark Active Skills, making it useful to have a Dragon Pal on your team to take less damage and deal more damage to the Field Boss.

Dark Damage can result in you being affected by Blind Status Condition, which can obscure your vision during the fight and make it difficult to aim at your targets.

Starryon tends to move around from time to time, which makes it best to have a Pal fighting it as a distraction while you fire at it with ranged weapons.

It would be best to take out the other Starryon that accompanies it, which will leave the Field Boss fighting on its own and this will make it easy to defeat or even capture the Pal.

Verdict

When fighting Starryon, you should watch out for the Active Skills that the group uses as some of them have an area of effect that can be dangerous but these can also be dodged.

While fighting the Field Boss, the other Pals that fight alongside it may attack you from a distance and it would be best to either take cover or deal with them first.

Starryon takes more damage from Dragon Attacks, making it useful to use a Pal with Dragon Active Skills or one that can change your attack to deal Dragon Damage. (Such as Chillet)
