Before the Tides of Terraria update, certain Pals remained undiscovered until recently, and one of them is Pengullet Lux.
Pengullet Lux is the Electric Variant of Pengullet, which features both Water and Electricity as its active element that gives it different Partner Skills to choose from.
This Pal can be assigned to multiple tasks at a base, explore the Palpagos Islands with you, and even sacrifice itself to blow up enemies that get in your way.

Pengullet Lux can be obtained through fishing, which can mostly be done around the Dessicated Dunes during the evening, as it won’t spawn during the day.
Other locations where Pengullet Lux can be found would be at the Phantom Isle and the Isle of Decayed Treasures.

Pengullet Lux Uses
Pengullet Lux can be quite handy in any base since it can craft, build, and take on both Generating Electricity and Watering tasks at your base.
When accompanying you, its ability to use both Water and Electric Active Skills can make it efficient against Fire or other Water Pals.
When things get too challenging, using its Pengullet Lux Launcher Partner Skill can change the tides of a battle, but this, of course, incapacitates your own Pal.

When activated, the player equips a Rocket Launcher and fires Pengullet Lux as ammunition, causing the Pal to explode on contact but also causing it to become incapacitated.
This can be a decent way to deal damage to your enemies at the cost of knocking out your own Pengullet Lux, making it necessary to use it with caution.
Using this Partner Skill requires the Pengullet Lux’s Rocket Launcher. (Unlocked at Level 39)
