Palworld: How To Summon & Defeat Hartalis Raid Boss

With the introduction of the Home Sweet Home update, a new Raid Boss called Hartalis was added, giving players a tough late-game challenge and unique rewards.

This boss lets you earn loot and a Huge Common Egg that can be hatched into your own Hartalis Pal after defeating it in battle.

The fight can be dangerous and destroy structures, so it’s recommended to summon Hartalis in an empty base or a dedicated Raid Battlefield to stay safe.

How To Summon Hartalis?

You first need four Hartalis Slab Fragments, which can be combined to craft the Hartalis Slab required to summon the boss at a Summoning Altar.

Hartalis Slab Fragments are found in dungeon chests, cave chests, and in dungeons around Sakurajima Island and Feybreak while exploring or running expeditions.

Once you have four fragments, craft the Hartalis Slab at any workbench, then place a Summoning Altar in a safe location and insert the slab to prepare for the fight.

Interact with the Summoning Altar and offer the Hartalis Slab to summon Hartalis and begin the timed Raid Boss battle.

How To Defeat Hartalis?

When it comes to fighting Hartalis, make sure your Pals are leveled up and, if possible, condensed to maximize their stats and overall effectiveness.

Upgrading your other Pals is important, and using ones that can apply status effects like freeze or burn can help control the fight.

Hartalis is a Neutral Pal, so Dark attacks work best against it, but almost any other Pals can still deal damage if needed.

Focus on dealing as much damage as possible while making sure your Pals can survive the attacks that Hartalis unleashes during the fight.

At certain points when its health has been lowered, Hartalis will create a barrier, which you will need to break to continue damaging it.

While any attack can damage the barrier, there will be moments when a specific elemental type will break it faster, so plan accordingly.

Hartalis’ health will fully restore after the first health bar is depleted, so you will need to reduce its health and break barriers again to progress.

Once its health reaches the final drop for the second time, Hartalis will begin to charge a powerful attack, and you will need to take cover to survive.

After the blast is unleashed, Hartalis will collapse to the ground and be defeated, giving you the egg and other loot it drops.
