Onions are one of the vegetables that were added when the Feybreak Update was released, which serve as consumables and an ingredient for cooking.
Players will find that Onions can be obtained later in the game by growing them at a base but this comes later once they have progressed a bit.

How To Get Onions?
Onion Plantations
Onions are grown at an Onion Plantation, a structure that you can unlock from your Technology Menu once you reach Level 36 and you will also need Onion Seeds to build it.
Building an Onion Plantation may be done at your base and this may be tended by you or your Pals to provide you with a continuous supply of Onions.
Crafting an Onion Plantation requires the following:
- 3 Onion Seeds
- 70 Wood
- 50 Stone
- 5 Pal Fluids
After an Onion Plantation has been built, the process of Planting, Watering, and Gathering needs to be done to provide you with Onions.
Your character can perform these actions or you can assign Pals to your base if they have the necessary skills to tend to the Onion Plantation.
How To Get Onion Seeds?
Onion Seeds can be obtained by defeating or capturing certain Pals and most of them may be encountered once you have progressed a bit in the game.
Pals that you can get Onion Seeds from include Cinnamoth, Mossanda, and Vaelet, who also drop other seeds as well.
Onions Uses
Onions are categorized as consumables and can be eaten to replenish 9 Nutrition but these are not the best type of food to eat raw.
Instead of being eaten, Onions can be used as ingredients that are used to cook some of the rarer Food Recipes in the game.
A large supply of Onions is recommended for those who wish to craft some of the better dishes while an extra stock of them can be kept in a Feedbox to keep your Pals fed. (Red Berries are better for this)
