Palworld: Palbox Control Device (How To Get & Use)

If you are tired of always having to run back and forth to your Palbox to access Pals for either swapping the ones in your party or at your base, a solution is now available.

Introducing the Palbox Control Device, a structure that is cheap to build but extremely useful, as it provides remote access to your base’s Palbox.

Adding one or more of these to your base will provide you with an easy way to access your Pals as well as even upgrade your base when available.

How To Unlock and Build Palbox Control Device?

Once your character makes it to Level 32, the Palbox Control Device becomes available for unlocking from the Technology Menu.

Unlocking the Palbox Control Device will cost you 3 Technology Points, and this can be built from the Pal section of your Build Menu.

Building the Palbox Control Device will require the following materials:

  • 20 Ingot
  • 30 Paldium Fragment

How To Use Palbox Control Device?

Using the Palbox Control Device can be done right away after it has been built, which simply requires that you walk up to it and choose the option you want.

This will either be to open the “Palbox Management Menu” or the “Base Upgrade” option, which are also functions of your base’s Palbox.

From the Palbox Management Menu, you can choose which Pals will go into your Party as well as those that will be assigned to your base. (You can swap them freely, just like with the Palbox)

A slight bonus is that you can also upgrade your base with the “Base Upgrade” menu as long as you have met all the requirements needed.

Verdict

To put things short, the Pal Control Box is a quick way to access some of the features that the Palbox provides you with, mainly managing your Pals or upgrading your base.

This can be useful when it comes to large bases, as you won’t have to run back to the Palbox often, and you may even use this during raids to safely have a spot to change Pals during the fight.

The Palbox does not require as many materials as Ingots, and Paldium Fragments are easy to come by, making it cheap to build more than one of these in a base.
