Does Bear Level Affect Trophy Drop Chance?
Unlike the Bear’s regular material drops, the chance of receiving a Bear Trophy does not increase when you defeat a higher-star variant.
A normal Bear, 1-star Bear, and 2-star Bear each have the same 10% trophy drop chance, so hunting stronger variants offers no advantage when farming trophies.
Stars instead increase the quantities of Bear Paw, Bear Meat, and Bear Hide dropped, making stronger Bears more rewarding for those particular resources.
Bear Trophy Uses
The Bear Trophy is used to craft the Headdress of the Bear and Bronze Pendant, giving the otherwise rare trophy two equipment-related crafting purposes.
