One of the resources that were added in Palworld with the Feybreak Update is Hexolite Quartz, which is considered to be a type of Paladium that has been transformed over several years.
This valuable resource is necessary to obtain if you plan on crafting some of the more advanced items that can be unlocked as you progress to higher levels.
Farming Hexolite Quartz may be difficult in the earlier stages of the game but once you have progressed and have reached Feybreak Island, the right tools and/or Pals will make gathering it easier.
How To Get Hexolite Quartz?
1) Mining Hexolite Quartz Formations
Hexolite Quartz can be obtained by mining Hexolite Quartz formations, which can be found all over Feybreak Island.
These are crystal formations that appear similar to Quartz Formations but have a rainbow-ish color to them, which makes them easy to spot.
Hexolite Quartz formations are tougher than most nodes and will require better tools to destroy or more damage from Pals or weapons.
2) Feybreak Dungeons (Caves)
While exploring Feybreak Island, you may discover several caves around the island, and entering these caves can result in you finding several chests and a Dungeon Boss at the end.
As you venture into these caves, you will be able to spot a ton of Hexolite nodes and these can be mined throughout the dungeons to get a lot of Hexolite Quartz.
It is advisable to bring a Pal that can help you mine or those that can increase your carry weight but having your max carry weight boosted beforehand is also a good idea.
Best Way To Farm Hexolite Quartz
Farming Hexolite Quartz is best done inside Feybreak Dungeons since there are a ton that spawn in them but if none are available, you can roam around.
The best way to farm Hexolite Quartz this way would be to fly around during the night since these crystals will glow even in the dark but searching for them in the morning is fine too.
Once you locate Hexolite Quartz formations, you can make use of a Refined Metal Pickaxe or a Pal Pickaxe to break them quickly.
Other ways to easily destroy Hexolite Quartz would be to use Pals that can destroy formations or use heavy weapons that can deal a lot of damage.
Your best bet is to have a Pal that can quickly fly around as this makes it easier to fly from one formation to the other.
There is a spot on Feybreak Island where 3 Hexolite nodes can be found along with a Crude Oil node, which is a great spot for a mining base. (-1066, -1430)
Hexolite Quartz Uses
Hexolite Quartz is used for crafting Hexolite, which also requires Chromite and Ore and these can only be smelted in a Gigantic Furnace.
The Gigantic Furnace can be learned once you reach Level 56, which is also the same level you need to be to unlock Hexolite before it can be made.
Hexolite may later be used for crafting some of the more advanced items that have been added in the Feybreak Update.
Verdict
You won’t need to gather a lot of Hexolite Quartz during the earlier parts of the game, which makes it better to focus on this resource once you have reached higher levels.
The more damage you or your Pals can do, the easier it will be for you to destroy Hexolite Quartz formations to get the resource.
Crafting a lot of Hexolite will require several of these resources along with the other requirements to craft it, making it quite valuable for later.
