Frostplume (Location, Drops, Uses & Partner Skill): Palworld

Frostplume is an Ice Pal that was added in the Tides of Terraria update, which appears to have the concept of an Ice-infused peacock.

This Pal may look gentle, but it is actually aggressive to those who tend to get too close to it, so be ready for a fight if you run into it early.

With its ability to attack enemies with Ice Active Skills and provide its owner with a boost in reload speed, it can be a useful companion to have on your team.

Frostplume Location Map

Frostplume is exclusive to Frostbitten Isle, which can be found southwest of the Plateau of Beginnings or southeast of Mount Obsidian.

Frostbitten Isle is located roughly around (-80, -945) and can be easily reached with a Pal that can fly or swim.

Frostplume Uses

Frostplume can be a useful Pal to have around when you are exploring and whenever you get into fights, as its Partner Skill helps you reload faster.

When fighting alongside you, this Ice Pal can make use of certain Ice Active Skills to damage and possibly freeze its targets.

Assigning Frostplume to a base will ideally be for its Cooling work skill, since other Pals are often better at Gathering crops from plantations.

Partner Skill

Peacock Pounce

Frostplume is a useful Pal for those who tend to use ranged weapons, as it boosts your focus, causing your reload speed to improve.

This will allow your character to quickly reload whatever weapon they are using, allowing you to deal more damage in a shorter period.

Peacock Pounce takes effect only while Frostplume is summoned, meaning that the two of you will have to be fighting together.

Work Suitability

Frostplume can help out at a base by gathering crops from plantations or providing cooling to structures that require Ice Pals.

  • Gathering (Level 1)
  • Cooling (Level 2)

Frostplume  Possible Drops

  • Ice Organ
  • Precious Plume

Verdict

Frostplume is a strong choice for players who favor ranged combat since its Partner Skill speeds up reload times, allowing you to stay on the offensive without frequent downtime.

The added benefit of Ice Active Skills makes it useful in fights where freezing enemies can shift the battle in your favor and give you more control in dangerous encounters.

Although its base work is limited, Frostplume still provides reliable Cooling support and drops valuable materials, making it a Pal that holds both combat and resource value.
