Neptilius (Location, Drops, Uses & Partner Skill): Palworld

Neptilius is a massive Water Pal that emerged when the Tides of Terraria update was released, providing players with a challenge but a rewarding Pal to have if captured.

With the ability to unleash devastating Water Active skills upon its enemies, this Pal takes its place among some of the strongest ones in the game.

Both a great companion to have in battle as well as a mount when exploring, Neptilius is a Pal you don’t want to miss out on.

Neptilius Location Map

Neptilius can only be encountered as a Dungeon Boss and may be challenged within the Sealed Realm of the Glacial Core.

The Sealed Realm of the Glacial Core can be found at (140, 650) on the Isle of the Glacial Core, which is located west of the northern part of the Desiccated Dunes.

Neptilius Uses

Neptilius is considered one of the strongest Pals to have in the game, especially when it has been leveled up and condensed to deal more damage.

Being able to quickly get across water and use its leap to close gaps can be a huge advantage, while the spear strikes provide you with more damage in combat.

When Neptilius is assigned to a base, it does a decent job when assigned to tasks that require Watering thanks to its high level of the work skill.

Partner Skill

Sentinel of the Great Sea

Neptilius’ Partner Skill is called Sentinel of the Great Sea, which allows this Pal to follow up your attacks with spear strikes that it summons.

While these do not deal a massive amount of damage, they are great for additional hits against enemies to stack with your attacks.

Additionally, having Neptilius’ saddle allows you to ride this majestic Water Pal, which also gives you the ability to leap high into the air over water.

Work Suitability

Neptilius has a high level with the Watering Skill, which allows it to efficiently work on tasks that require Water Pals.

  • Watering (Level 4)

Neptilius Possible Drops

  • Pure Quartz
  • Polymer
  • Carbon Fiber
  • Diamond
  • Larger Pal Soul

Verdict

Neptilius is an excellent option for players who want both power and mobility, as its devastating Water Active Skills and mounted leap make it a force in combat and exploration alike.

The bonus spear strikes from its Partner Skill add steady pressure during battles, keeping enemies on the defensive while you deal damage.

While its work skills are limited outside of Watering, its efficiency in that role and valuable drops make it useful even at base, making Neptilius a true late-game powerhouse.
