Whispers in the Wind serves as a repeatable quest in Diablo 4’s Season of Witchcraft, which sets you out to collect Grim Favors in between the Seasonal Quests.
Collecting Rim favors helps progress your Coven’s Favor since completing whispers is required to increase your rank, allowing you to unlock more Seasonal Quests.

You will need to collect a certain amount of Grim Favors to complete the quest and the total number increases every time you repeat it.
Grim favors obtained previously with the repeatable quest appear to count, which makes this quest relatively easy each time you have to do this.

Whispers in the Wind serves as a type of intermission between the seasonal quests and completing this repeatable quest will allow you to move on to the next ones.
This serves as a way to point players in the right direction so that they can progress with the other seasonal quests that are unlocked through Coven’s Favor.

Players who plan to delve straight into the Seasonal Content of Season of Witchcraft will have an easy time progressing with Whispers in the Wind since all you need are Grim Favors.
Opting for Headhunt and Helltide are the best among the three choices as there are plentiful Whispers that can be completed.
Completing Whispers in the Wind is required and cannot be skipped but this doesn’t take up too much time either as long as you focus on Grim Favors in zones where they are available.
