In an attempt to find Bartuc, you and Shyan sought out to find a man named Alafar at the Imperial Library, but he had already been killed by demons.
Thanks to the book that he was holding on to, it was discovered that The Sword of Horazon was connected to Bartuc, and the two of you plan to find it.
You will need to meet up with Shyan so that the two of you can make your way to where the sword has been hidden and see if there is a way to track down Bartuc.
How To Get The Sword of Horazon Quest?
As the 5th Seasonal Quest in Season of Infernal Chaos, this quest becomes available after the completion of the Blood on Parchment quest and after increasing your Viz-Jaq’taar Rank.
This unlocks after reaching Rank 8 with Viz-Jaq’taar Veneration Rank.
The Sword of Horazon Quest Walkthrough
Once the quest begins, make your way to Fate’s Retreat and speak with Shyan, which will result in the two of you needing to go to the nearby Cultist Camp.
Head to the Cultist Camp and defeat the enemies near the entrance of the Vault of Sins before speaking to Shyan again.
After speaking to Shyan, proceed by making your way into the Vault of Sins and continue fighting your way through the enemies until you reach the gate to the inner sanctum.
The only way to open the door is to “spill blood,” and what you will need to do is search the area for a “Bloody Corpse” and interact with it.
Return to the door and interact with the “Basin of the Blood” next to it, but this won’t be enough, and you will need to do this one more time with another corpse.
Both of the corpses will be nearby, and all you will need to do is travel a short distance, interact with them before interacting with the basin.
Continue making your way down the inner sanctum, and you will stumble upon The Sword of Horazon, which is protected by a barrier.
Speak with Shyan before interacting with the barrier to begin, which will require that you now protect Shyan while she connects with the sword.
The sword will break after you defeat the oncoming enemies, and afterwards, speak to Shyan to learn what she has discovered. (Quest Ends Here)
The Sword of Horazon Seasonal Quest Rewards
Completing The Sword of Horazon quest will reward you with XP, Gold, and an Archetype Cache that provides materials for certain builds related to your class.
You will also be able to continue with the Seasonal Questline after you have increased your rank with the Viz-Jaq’taar’s Offering.
Verdict
The Sword of Horazon ended up being destroyed by the pressure that was put on it during the connection, but Shyan was successful.
It has been revealed that Bartuc is inside an ancient mage hall that was once occupied by the Vizjerei, and now the two of you know where to go.
Shyan has given you time to prepare before the two of you make your way to the Hidden Overlook to search for and confront Bartuc.
