Diablo 4: Bartuc, Lord of Chaos Quest Walkthrough

After finding out where Bartuc is, you and Shyan have made plans to confront him, and the first thing to do is to meet up at the Hidden Overlook.

Bartuc won’t be too far off, and both of you will make your way to where he is hiding and attempt to put an end to his plans.

If your attempt on Bartuc is successful, this may just be enough to banish him back to hell, but it is uncertain what follows after.

How To Get Bartuc, Lord of Chaos Quest?

This quest is the last Seasonal Quest from Season of Infernal Chaos, which becomes available after completing The Sword of Horazon quest.

This unlocks after reaching Rank 10 with Viz-Jaq’taar Veneration Rank.

Bartuc, Lord of Chaos Walkthrough

After reaching Rank 10 with your Viz-Jaq’taar Rank, you will need to meet up with Shyan at the Hidden Overlook, and the two of you will travel together.

Make your way to the marked location to reach the entrance to the Corrupted Palace and speak with Shyan before going inside.

Once the two of you have entered the Corrupted Palace, continue pushing forward until you reach the Fell Council Sanctum.

Two bosses, called Bremm the Maelstrom and Wyand the Shadow, will be present, and you will have to defeat both of them.

Continue making your way through the Corrupted Palace after defeating both of them, and eventually, you will reach the Sanctum of Chaos.

There will be 4 pillars of energy in the area, and you will need to step on one of them to begin the fight with Bartuc, Lord of Chaos.

Dodge Bartuc’s attacks if possible and dish out as much damage as you can until you defeat this boss, which will send him back to hell.

Once Bartuc is back in hell, speak to Shyan, and this will result in her leaving to report about the victory you’ve had. (Quest Ends Here)

Bartuc, Lord of Chaos Seasonal Quest Rewards

Once you have defeated Bartuc and spoken to Shyan, the quest will be completed, and you will receive XP, Gold, and an Archetype Cache.

This concludes the Seasonal Questline for Season 10: Season of Infernal Chaos.

Verdict

After delivering the final blow to Bartuc, Lord of Chaos, he lets off a few words declaring that you can never truly destroy him, which is because he is sent back to hell.

While Bartuc, Lord of Chaos, has been sent back, the presence of Mephisto in Sanctuary will allow the Chaos Rifts to remain, and Bartuc may still come back.

This leaves the Wanderer at a point where they will fight a seemingly eternal war against the demons, Bartuc, and the Chaos Rifts until an intervention can change things.
