In the Name of the Tree is a Seasonal Quest that becomes available once you have progressed with your Coven Favor, which ends up with you finding Gelena speaking to other witches.
As you head to the Tree of Whispers, you discover Gelena having what seems to be an argument with other Witches possibly from her coven.
The group speaks of a cleansing ritual that needs to be performed but the only person available who knew of it was just a head at the Tree of Whispers and they have been taken.
In the Name of the Tree Walkthrough
Once the quest starts, you will need to head over to the Tree of Whispers, which is where you already might be, and speak to Gelena.
A short cutscene will begin where the group has a discussion and after that, you will need to interact with one of the Altars of Witchcraft nearby.
Speak to Gelena once you are done checking on the altars and she talks about Belith, whose head has been taken to the Fractured Peaks.
You will need to make your way to the Silent Roothold in the Fractured Peaks and complete the dungeon’s objectives until you reach the boss at the end.
The Silent Roothold will require that you fight your way past enemies and perform 2 Rites, Rituals, or Ceremonies found along the way.
This will lead to a fight with the Cunning Headless Husk in the Heart of the Brambles and upon defeating this boss, Belith’s Head will be dropped along with other loot.
Take Belith’s Head and head back to the Tree of Whispers and return it to the Coven by speaking to Ouna and the quest will end after a quick cutscene.
In the Name of the Tree Quest Rewards
Completing this quest will reward you with XP and Gold along with an Herb Cache that will provide you with Bundled Herbs and possibly equipment.
Should you have enough progress with your Coven Favor, you will be able to proceed with the next Seasonal Quest called “Poison in the Roots.”
Verdict
The Coven was lucky enough to track down where Belith’s Head was taken and now that it has been brought back, the Coven may get some answers.
As they previously mentioned, a certain ritual needs to be performed and Belith is the only person available to help out.
Gelena will be waiting for you at the Tree of Whispers while the Coven prepares for the cleansing ritual.
