Aspect of Numbing Wrath (How to Get, Location & Effects): Diablo 4

Barbarians are some of the sturdiest classes in the game and not only do they deal a good amount of damage, they can cause a lot of chaos as well.

One of the best ways to make a Barbarian tougher to kill is to build up Fortify, which reduces the damage they take and this can easily be done with Aspect of Numbing Wrath.

The aspect of Numbing Wrath allows you to build up Fortify, which triggers when your Fury is full and you continue to gain it.

Aspect of Numbing Wrath Effects (Fortify Aspect)

The aspect of Numbing Wrath causes each point of Fury that is generated while your Fury is maxed out to grant you a certain amount of Fortify.

This allows you to continuously build up your Fortify as long as you do not spend fury or gain so much that it overflows your limit.

One of the fastest ways to trigger this would be to use your Basic Skill several times without Core Skills or anything else to quickly build it up.

How To Get Aspect of Numbing Wrath? (Heathen’s Keep Walkthrough)Defeating the Blood Bishop at Heathen’s Keep Dungeon

1) Slay High Inquisitors

You will be starting in Heathen’s Bastion once you enter the dungeon and will need to search for 3 High Inquisitors (elite enemies) and slay them.

2) Open the Door

After the High Inquisitors have been killed, make your way to the door at the very end of the map and open it to continue.

3) Travel to the Inner Sanctum

The door will lead you to the Inner Sanctum and on the way you will encounter an additional objective before you can proceed. (We had to destroy a Construct)

Once the additional objective has been completed, follow the path until you reach the Inner Sanctum, which is where a Blood Bishop will be dwelling.

4) Defeat the Blood Bishop

Upon reaching the Inner Sanctum, the Blood Bishop will begin attacking you, which requires that you slay him to get the rewards from the dungeon as well as the loot he drops

Verdict

Barbarians are tough fighters even without this Aspect but if you tend to fight enemies at higher levels, it can make a huge difference.

Builds that utilize the Frenzy Basic Skill can quickly build up Fortify while those using Lunging Strike can continuously pound on their enemies while doing the same.

The Barbarian class has certain skill upgrades that allow them to generate fury and this count as well when it comes to Aspect of Numbing Wrath.
