Nimbus has been waiting for you as he mentions that Osiris has discovered that the Vex has been up to some weird activity in Neomuna.
The Vex have been trying to access data and Osiris believes that it has something to do with the Veil but there is no trace of what they are up to.
To figure out what the Vex is planning, you will need to see what the Shadow Legion knows and pursue the Vex afterward.
How To Get Parting the Veil Quest?
Parting The Veil became available during the release of Season of the Deep, which later lets you delve more into part of the story on Neomuna.
You can accept this quest by heading over to Nimbus, who can be found at Strider’s Gate just past the Hall of Heroes.
Before you can accept this quest, you will need to have progressed with the story in Neomuna first and have gone through the campaign.
Parting the Veil Quest Steps
Step 1: Defeat Cabal in Neomuna to Find Vex Tracking Data
Only the Shadow Legion have been following the Vex activity and to find out more about the Vex, you will have to start with them.
You will need to defeat Cabal enemies in Neomuna and some of them will drop Vex Tracking Data, which needs to be collected.

Step 2: Acquire Vex Data from Maya’s Retreat
The first location where the Vex is collecting data appears to be in Maya’s Retreat and you will need to head over there to check it out.
There will be a Vex structure that is guarded by 3 invulnerable Interlocutor Harpy enemies, which all need to be defeated but to do so, you need to remove their shields.
To make the Interlocutor Harpies vulnerable, you will need to clear out the waves of enemies that spawn in the area and this needs to be done for each Interlocutor Harpy.
After all the Interlocutor Harpies have been defeated, you will need to interact with the Vex structure to collect the Vex Data from it.
- Obtain Maya’s Retreat Data
Step 3: Acquire Additional Vex Data from the Exterior of the Irkalla Complex
You will need more Vex data to find out what they are up to and this time, you will need to go to the Irkalla Complex.
If you are unfamiliar with its location or do not remember it, you can track the quest, and a waypoint will point you in the right direction.
Once you reach the Irkalla Complex, you will need to do what you did previously and defeat the Interlocutor Harpies before collecting the Vex data.

Step 4: Complete: “Parting the Veil.”
After obtaining the Vex data, it will be discovered that Vex has been attempting to breach the firewall in the old Ishtar Collective systems at Veil Containment.
You will need to head towards the mission starting location for Parting the Veil mission (not to be confused with the quest) and complete it.

Step 5: Meditate on Your Findings
Once you are back in Neomuna, head to the Hall of Heroes and interact with The Pouka Pond and this will allow you to collect the reward for completing the quest.

Step 6: Collect Rewards
The quest will end once you collect the reward, which is the Epochal Integration Hand Cannon and once you obtain it, the quest seems to just disappear.
Parting The Veil Quest Rewards
As you complete certain parts of Parting the Veil, you will be able to collect Strand Meditations and later once you complete the quest, you will be able to claim the Epochal Integration.
The Epochal Integration is one of the many weapons that come from Trials of Osiris that becomes more efficient when you equip weapons from the same set.
Aside from being able to obtain the Epochal Integration, you will also obtain new Strand Aspects to further allow you to create new builds.
Summary
It seems that the Vex was trying to get into the work done by Chioma Esi and Maya Sundaresh but luckily this didn’t go unnoticed.
Not only were you able to stop the Vex from collecting what they needed, but you also got a powerful Hand Cannon in the process.
Things are all set right now but there will most likely be more to do in the future and Osiris will let you know if anything else comes up.
