How To Complete Mission Dossier Anchored Thrones in Destiny 2

Destiny 2’s Act I: Echoed Warnings quest features a lot of tasks for you to complete as you progress through Episode: Heresy.

One of these tasks is Quest Step 12, which requires you to complete the Mission Dossier: Anchored Thorns, and this can be a bit confusing.

Instead of jumping into a mission, the task is completed by reaching a certain location on Savathun’s Throne World and interacting once you reach your destination.

How To Complete Anchored Thrones?

Trying to choose a launch will send you to Quagmire in Savathun’s Throne World so it’s either you choose to launch or just fast travel to this location.

Make sure to track the quest so you don’t get lost since you will be making your way to the Temple of The Cunning.

As you make your way to the Temple of The Cunning, you will need to fight your way through multiple enemies, but you can also rush past them.

Upon reaching the marked area, Savathun will appear and there will be a slightly long conversation between the two of you.

Savathun will pretty much warn you and tell you to stay away but Drifter insists that you continue the same path you are on.

Once Savathun disappears, a glowing sphere will be present, and interacting with it will allow you to deploy Ghost, which starts a conversation with you and Drifter.

After the conversation between you and Drifter, Quest Step 12 will be complete, and you can proceed with the next steps in Act I: Echoed Warnings.

Once this Quest Step has been completed, you will be heading back to The Nether for Quest Step 13, which requires you to search for Skyburner Data.

Verdict

It turns out that there is no specific Anchored Thrones Mission that needs to be done and instead, this happens to be more of a cinematic phase in the quest.

You may have remembered heading down a similar path in the past seasons and those who are familiar with the area should have a breeze heading to the marked location.

Marking the quest will make things much easier as this adds a waypoint for you to follow to quickly reach the spot where you meet with Savathun and speak with Drifter through Ghost.
