A Fireteam has gone missing beneath the waves of the methane sea on Titan and a call has been received by the Tower.
You will need to dive deep into the Midnight depth of Titan’s ocean to search for the Fireteam as well as assist them with completing their mission.
Their mission was previously to recover as much Egregore Coral as possible before extracting and with your help, the mission will pull through.

How To Get Mayday, Mayday Mission?
Mayday, Mayday is one of the missions that you need to complete during Into the Depths (Week 2) which is required in quest step 10.
You will need to complete Mayday, Mayday before you continue with the rest of the quest steps following Week 2 of Season of the Deep.
Mayday, Mayday Mission Objectives
1) Underwater Rig Airlock
You will be starting in the Mesopelagic Twilight, where you will need to open the airlock leading into an open area. (interact with lever)
2) Mayday Response: Catch up with Sloane
Upon entering the large area, you will need to catch up with Sloane but first, you need to fight your way through multiple enemies while heading for the waypoint.
3) Select a Gift from Ahsa
Once you reach the waypoint, you will have a choice between two of Ahsa’s Gifts and will need to choose one to open up the door ahead of you.
4) Dive into the Midnight Depth
Now that the door has been opened, you will need to dive into the water and make your way to the Old Sunken Arcology, which can be found by following the waypoint.
On your way down, you will come across a large turbine that will kill you if you try to get through it but this can be shut off by interacting with a nearby lever.
Continue following the waypoint until you reach the Arcology and interact with the lever to open it up so you can get through.
5) Plant Egregore Resonator
To begin collecting Egregor Coral, you will need to interact with the spot just outside of the large door to plant the Egregore Resonator.
6) Refit the Extractor’s Power Cells
There will be 3 Fuel Cells that are in the area covered with debris that you need to destroy to pick them up.
You will need to collect Fuel Cells and install them into the Extractor but can only carry one at a time, requiring that you do this one by one.
7) Repair and Reboot the Extractor
Enemies will spawn in the area and you will need to defeat Wrathful Predator’s to obtain Wrenches (you need 3 in total) that will be used to repair the Extractor.
Once a Wrathful Predator has been defeated, a Wrench will drop and you will need to bring it over to the Extractor and interact with it.
This needs to be done 3 times to complete the objective and while all this is happening, you will need to fight off multiple Taken enemies.
8) Defend the Extractor
Now that the Extractor has been rebooted, you will need to clear the area of multiple enemies before being able to proceed to the next area.
Once the enemies have been cleared out, follow the waypoint to the next area by following the waypoint through another door.
9) Defeat Kudazad, Bound to Xivu Arath
From a distance, you will see a flying enemy known as Kudazad, Bound to Xivu Arath, and will need to jump down to engage it.
Kudazad will be accompanied by other enemies and you will need to fight them off to avoid taking too much damage while you also target the boss.
10) Defeat the Drowned Ogres
After taking out half of Kudazad’s health, it will become invulnerable and more enemies will spawn in the area.
You will need to defeat the Drowned Ogres to remove her invulnerability, which will allow you to continue reducing its health.
11) Defeat Kudazad, Bound to Xivu Arath
Now that Kudazad is vulnerable again, start attacking until you have finished them off once and for all, which will later allow you to collect the Egregore Coral.
12) Extract Your Haul of Collected Egregore Coral
The Egregore Coral will be within reach and you will need to head over to it to extract it, which will then cause a Deep Chest to appear.
13) Collect Rewards
Once the Egregore Coral has been retrieved, proceed by opening the Deep Chest that just appeared and the mission will be complete.
Mayday Mayday Mission Rewards
Completing the Mayday, Mayday mission will reward you with Season of the Deep gear as well as Deep Engrams.
The rewards are similar to those that you would obtain in a Deep Dive mission, which serves as an introduction to the activity.
Summary
The Fireteam may have had trouble with their mission but you arrived just in time to make sure that everything went smoothly.
With more Egregore Coral extracted, you will now be able to provide Ahsa and Sloane with enough to make another link.
