Higher Voltage is an Exotic Quest that needs to be completed to unlock the Catalyst for the Centrifuse Exotic Auto Rifle.
This quest will set you on a path where you need to use the weapon as well as progress in activities to unlock its full potential.

How To Get Higher Voltage Quest?
You may obtain the Higher Voltage Exotic Quest by speaking to Banshee-44 after you have obtained the Centrifuse Exotic Auto Rifle.
The Centrifuse becomes available for players who have the Season Pass at Season Rank 1 while players without the Season Pass may obtain it at Rank 35.
Higher Voltage Quest Steps
Step 1: Rebuild the Centrifuse’s Catalyst by rapidly defeating targets and defeating them with Arc final blows.
To prepare the Centrifuse for its Catalyst, you will need to use the weapon to defeat several targets within a certain amount of time apart from each other.
Killing enemies multiple in succession counts as rapidly defeating them, which requires you to defeat a total of 20 enemies quickly.
You will also need to defeat enemies using Arc final blows, which include damage from weapons or abilities.
Since the Centrifuse deals Arc damage, you can use it to get final blows and if fighting multiple enemies, you can defeat targets rapidly thanks to its Arc explosions.
- Rapidly defeat 20 targets
- Defeat 40 Targets with Arc final blows
Step 2: Calibrate data and defeat targets while using Centrifuse
This requires that you do two tasks that can be done simultaneously or separately, whichever makes it easier for you to complete.
You will need to defeat targets with the Exotic Auto Rifle itself, which needs to reach 100% progress after several enemies have been defeated.
Calibration can be generated even if you do not have the Centrifuse equipped and this can be done by doing Vanguard Operations, Gambit or Crucible matches as well as Seasonal activities.
Completing higher-tier Nightfalls or winning in Gambit or Crucible as well as defeating Guardians will provide more progress.

Step 3: Speak to Banshee-44
