Begin by taking the path to the left, which is how you will be getting your hands on a Datapad that you will need later.
Summon the Shielding Psion if you wish and start making your way across the platforms until you reach the long platform at the very end.
Make your way to the very end, opposite of where the portal is, and you will find an opening at the side, which is where the Datapad can be found.
