Your trusted buddy Ghost has gotten even more spotlight now and has become one of the Vendor NPCs in The Final Shape.
As you progress through The Final Shape and the story further, Ghost becomes a valuable addition to the Vendors that you interact with.
You may now earn reputation with Ghost and may unlock Rank Rewards, Focused Decoding, and Upgrades from him to get more gear and materials to use.
Rank Rewards
When you gain reputation with Ghost, your Rank will eventually increase and you will have access to certain Rank Rewards.
The following are the Rank Rewards you can get from Ghost:
- Next Major Rank – Pale Heart Weapons
- Rank 4 – Pale Heart Engram
- Rank 7 – 3 Enhancement Core
- Rank 10 – 3 Upgrade Module
- Rank 13 – 2 Enhancement Prism
- Rank 16 – Scintillant Trajectory (Shader)
- Rank 16 – Reset Rank (Rewards Ascendant Shard)
Focused Decoding
Focused Decoding allows you to purchase Pale Heart Weapons and Pale Heart Armor that you have already obtained.
These may be purchased with Pale Heart Engrams as well as Glimmer depending on what what gear you plan on purchasing.
This gives you the chance to get certain rolls when it comes to weapons and different stats with armor from the Pale Heart Collection.
Upgrades
Reaching certain ranks with Ghost will allow you to unlock certain upgrades that provide you with better ways to get Pale Heart gear.
Deepsight Weapon Focusing
This causes the first Pale Heart weapon that you focus on to have a guaranteed Deepsight mod once per reset.
Engram Stockpile
Unlocking this provides you with the first five Pale Heart Engrams at an increased rate for every reset that is done.
Cairn Stone
The Cairn Stone is an option that allows you to gain additional rolls of the Exotic Sword (Ergo Sum) that can be earned in two ways.
You may do this by completing the first two Pathfinder tasks each week or by completing Overthrows in the current daily target zone.
These reset weekly and allow Guardians to try their luck at getting better variations of the weapon and can be a great way to perfect certain builds.

As the Pale Heart is still being deciphered, there will be more features coming soon and this section will be updated when that happens.
Ghost Reputation
You can obtain a reputation with Ghost through several actions and activities that may be done in The Pale Heart.
These include completing Pathfinder Objectives, Overthrows, Lost Sectors, Cysts and even opening chests found in The Pale Heart.
As your reputation increases, you will continue to gain ranks, allowing you to collect Pale Heart Engrams as well as Rank Rewards.

Ghosts acts as the main vendor for The Pale Heart and guardians who plan on doing activities there will be able to get a lot of rewards from him.
Those who are interested in the Pale Heart Collection of weapons and armor will be able to get a lot of gear as they progress with Ghost.
