Earning enough reputation with Master Rahool will increase your rank, which will allow you to collect Rank Rewards from him.

Master Rahool offers 2 different services, which are Material Exchange and the new Focused Decoding for Exotic Gear.
1) Materials Exchange
Materials Exchange allows you to exchange certain items that you have collected for Glimmer or materials, which include the following:
Curious
This provides you with a list of materials that may be obtained in different areas, which may be exchanged for 10,000 Glimmer. (Exchangeable materials will rotate)
Material Exchange
Allows you to swap materials and Glimmer to get Enhancement Prisms, Ascendant Shards, and Ascendant Alloy.
- Enhancement Prism – Costs 10 Enhancement Core and 10,000 Glimmer)
- Ascendant Shard – Costs 10 Enhancement Prism and 50,000 Glimmer)
- Ascendant Alloy – Costs 10 Enhancement Prism and 50,000 Glimmer)
Special Orders
These are items that you can purchase at discounted prices from Master Rahool but only 3 of each may be purchased weekly.
- Enhancement Prism – Costs 10 Enhancement Core and 2,500 Glimmer)
- Ascendant Shard – Costs 10 Enhancement Prism and 10,000 Glimmer)
- Ascendant Alloy – Costs 10 Enhancement Prism and 10,000 Glimmer)
- 5 Enhancement Cores – Costs 1 Enhancement Prism and 2,500 Glimmer)
Miscellaneous
This option is like the Curious option, which also allows you to exchange materials you find for 5,000 Glimmer.
2) Focused Decoding
Focused Decoding allows Guardians to exchange Exotic Engram, Glimmer, and Enhancement Cores to obtain Exotic Gear.
These include Exotic Engrams including the following:
- Red War Helm
- Red War Chest
- Red War Arms
- Red War Legs
- Forsaken Armor
- Shadowkeep Armor
- Beyond Light Armor
- Witch Queen Armor
- Lightfall Armor
These will provide you random Exotic Gear once you purchase them, which will cost you an Exotic Engram, 30,000 Glimmer, and 10 Enhancement Prisms.
Selling Ships and Vehicles
Master Rahool sells basic Ships and Vehicles that Guardians can purchase, which may be used right away after you get them.
The Ships and Vehicles sold by Master Rahool will cost 5,000 Glimmer each and will only be around Uncommon to Rare quality.
This serves as an early source for Guardians to purchase different Ships and Vehicles if they want to change what they are currently using.
How To Decrypt Engrams?
Upon interacting with Master Rahool , you will first be prompted to Decrypt Engrams and this will show you what Engrams you have available.
The majority of the Engrams you have may be decrypted for random items but you can also use these for focusing, which most players do with Exotic Engrams.
This menu may be canceled at any time to open his main menu, which is where you will be able to access his other features.
Master Rahool Reputation
Obtaining a reputation with Master Rahool will allow you to increase your Rank with him, which unlocks rewards that you can claim.
You will gain reputation with Master Rahool whenever you decrypt engrams, which may be done if you have available engrams when you interact with him.
Once you have reset your rank with him, you will be able to obtain even more rewards and will have more benefits from him.
Verdict
Master Rahool used to just be the person you would go to open engrams but since The Final Shape came out, he offers a lot more.
The more engrams you decrypt, the higher your Rank with him will be, allowing you to get even more rewards from him.
Not all engrams such as Eververse Engrams may be decrypted by Master Rahool and instead, you will need to find other vendors that can do this.
