During The Edge of Fate, Guardians were tasked with obtaining Data Pads in different activities to complete some of the weekly challenges.
The same is now available during the Ash & Iron Major Update, but this time, you will be focused on obtaining Golden Age Salvage, also known as Golden Age Caches.
Within the upcoming weeks, there will be new weekly challenges that can be completed by obtaining what appear to be similar to Data Pads, and we have put together guides to help you out.

Vanguard Supply Recovery has you searching for Golden Age Caches in certain Fireteam Ops missions that you can start from the Portal.

2) Fireteam Missives Discovered Locations
Similar to Vanguard Supplies Recovery, Fireteam Missives Discovered also stages the hunt for Golden Age Caches in various Fireteam Ops missions.

3) Pinnacle Data Pad Retrieval Locations
Pinnacle Data Pad Retrieval will have you searching for Golden Age Caches throughout various Pinnacle Ops, which can be a bit more challenging than other missions.

Reclaim Missives Discovered will have you searching for the Golden Age Caches within the Reclaim Activities that are available from the Fireteam Ops, which can be started from the Portal.

How To Collect Golden Age Salvage?
To collect Golden Age Salvage, you will need to make your way through the required mission, which can be checked from the weekly challenges.
Once you delve through the specified mission, keep a lookout for the Data Pads (Golden Age Salvage) that may be found in fixed spots.
Interact with the Golden Age Caches to view their descriptions, and after closing them, they will be considered as collected by all of your characters.
Verdict
Each of the Golden Age Caches can be found in specific locations, but in the upcoming weeks, new spots may be added for another set of fixed collectibles.
If you have failed to collect these before another set of weekly challenges has started, you may still find these Data Pads (Golden Age Salvage) in their specific locations.
Collecting all of the Golden Age Caches will allow you to complete weekly challenges for Challenger XP and, probably later, other rewards too.
