Completing the Vanguard Supply Recovery weekly challenges requires that you search specific missions for Golden Age Salvage.
Only by finding each Golden Age Salvage will you complete each weekly challenge and claim their rewards to eventually complete a triumph related to them.
While this may seem somewhat tedious, this can easily be done by looking out for each salvage, and we have put this guide together to help speed things up.
Vanguard Supply Recovery – 1 (Golden Age Salvage) Locations
The first week of Ash & Iron requires that you find 2 Golden Age Salvages within the Fallen S.A.B.E.R. mission found in the Fireteam Ops playlist.
1) Fallen S.A.B.E.R. Golden Age Salvage 1
After you complete the phase where you locate and defend the Warsat, continue making your way down into The Bunker.
You will need to get past the area where you need to enter and drop down from a vent, which is also where the first Golden Age Salvage can be found.
2) Fallen S.A.B.E.R. Golden Age Salvage 2
The second Golden Age Salvage in Fallen S.A.B.E.R. can be found before you reach the area where you fight the boss.
Just before you go up the stairs leading to a vent where you drop down to enter the boss arena, it will be impossible to miss it since its glow makes it easy to spot.
Vanguard Supply Recovery – 2 (Golden Age Salvage) Locations
During the second week of Ash & Iron, you will find the Data Pads for the Vanguard Supply Recover II in The Insight Terminus and Battleground: Core activities.
1) Insight Terminus Golden Age Salvage 1
The first Data Pad can be found after your first encounter with Kargen, which requires that you secure a plate to remove a barrier.
Once the barrier has been removed, proceed forward as you normally would, and after leaving the tight passage, the Data Pad can be found to your left.
2) Insight Terminus Golden Age Salvage 2
The second Data Pad in Insight Terminus can be found right before you begin your fight with Kargen in the final boss area.
As you make your way to the waypoint that leads you to Kargen, you will easily be able to spot the Data Pad on your right.
3) Battleground: Core Golden Age Salvage 1
During the earlier part of this activity, you will need to get rid of 9 Taken Blights before proceeding to the next area.
Just before you drop down to progress with the activity, check your left, and you will find a Data Pad there in plain sight.
4) Battleground: Core Golden Age Salvage 2
The next Data Pad can be found just before you make your way to the boss area after fighting past several enemies.
Near the path leading to the boss will be the Data Pad in the corner, and this should be easy to spot since it has a light glow.
Vanguard Supply Recovery – 3 (Golden Age Salvage) Locations
You will be taking on the HyperNet Current and Battleground: Behemoth activities while attempting to find Golden Age Salvage in specific locations.
1) HyperNet Current Golden Age Salvage 1
During the earlier part of HyperNet Current, you will fight your way past Cabal and Vex that are fighting within a large cave.
After the ascend on some large platforms, you will eventually stumble upon the Golden Age Salvage as you make your way to the objective.
2) HyperNet Current Golden Age Salvage 2
You will find the second Golden Age Salvage after the fight with the Tormentor as it will be found after you descend into the Vex Network.
After making your way through the round entrance, jump to the platform below and you will find the Golden Age Salvage to the right.
3) Battleground: Behemoth Golden Age Salvage 1
You will find the second Golden Age Salvage after the fight with the Tormentor, as it will be found after you descend into the Vex Network.
After making your way through the round entrance, jump to the platform below, and you will find the Golden Age Salvage to the right.
4) Battleground: Behemoth Golden Age Salvage 2
The second Golden Age Salvage is located past the area where you had to fight off the Cabal combatants and is mainly before you fight the boss.
Head to the left side, where there is a barricaded generator, and you will see the Golden Age Salvage within the covered area.
Verdict
Similar to the Data Pads that needed to be searched for in the previous season, Golden Age Salvages are not too difficult to spot.
Sometimes you might not notice them if you are rushing through a mission, which makes it important to keep an eye out.
Golden Age Salvages will always be in the same location, and once you get them with one character, you won’t have to do this for the others.
