Warframe: Vinquibus Primary & Melee Builds

Vinquibus was introduced alongside The Old Peace update, becoming Warframe’s first bayonet weapon and serving as the signature weapon wielded by Uriel.

By occupying both the Primary and Melee weapon slots, Vinquibus allows players to take advantage of shared polarity slots when creating efficient and flexible builds.

Its base starts to scale well across different setups, letting the primary and melee forms function independently or work together to create strong combat synergy.

Vinquibus Primary Builds

1) Critical Build (Critical Damage Build)

Focusing mainly on dealing Critical Damage, this build boosts the Critical Chance of Vinquibus to 100% with a 9x Critical Damage Multiplier.

Thanks to this weapon’s synergy with its melee attacks, the ammo efficiency can be improved with melee kills, allowing you to fire continuously.

This makes Speed Trigger and Primed Shred useful for unleashing several shots in quick succession to deal high amounts of damage.

2) Status Build (Elemental Status Effects/Primer Build)

Increasing the Status Chance of Vinquibus to 84%, this build provides not only a good chance for Status Effects to be inflicted, but the base damage is also increased.

Galvanized Aptitude has been added to the build to provide you with more damage following the instances where enemies are affected by Status Effects.

This build can be both great for priming enemies to be finished off with Condition Overlord or Galvanized Aptitude once they suffer from several Status Effects.

3) Hybrid Build (Critical Chance and Status Effects Build)

Combining both the Critical Build and Status Build, we utilize multiple mods from each one to provide both Status Chance and Critical Chance to the weapon.

This gives you a good chance to inflict status effects when firing at your enemies and causes your shots to often be Critical Hits.

The combination of initial damage, critical hits, and status effects is perfect for taking out enemies, especially when you need to focus on single targets.

4) Weak Point Build (Primary Acuity Build)

For those who are accurate with semi-automatic weapons, this build tends to pay off due to the 350% extra Weak Point Damage.

Along with a mixture of Critical Mods as well as a boost in Fire Rate with Speed Trigger, you can easily deal a decent amount of damage to enemies you target.

This functions exceptionally well after getting a few melee kills, allowing you to save up on ammo as you continuously fire at your enemies.

Vinquibus Melee Builds

1) Condition Overload Build (Critical Damage Build)

Whether you are using the Primary mode of Vinquibus or a weapon to apply status effects to enemies, utilizing Condition Overload and a mixture of Critical Mods can help finish off your enemies.

Condition Overload has been added to this build to boost the damage you deal to your enemies based on how many Status Effects they are suffering from.

This makes it ideal to have a weapon that can apply several stacks of Status Effects as you finish them off with melee attacks.

2) Status Build (Status Effects and Damage Over Time Build)

The point of this melee build is to provide Vinquibus with a good chance of inflicting Status Effects to weaken, damage, and prime enemies.

Enemies that are affected by Status Effects can suffer greatly depending on what other weapons and builds you have, especially those that benefit from inflicted enemies.

Weeping Wounds further improves the Status Chance of Vinquibus, making it easier to inflict Status Effects as your combo meter increases.

3) Hybrid Build (Base Damage and Status Effects Build)

Combining both Critical and Status Builds, the addition of Condition Overload along with Status and Critical Mods makes it easy to deal more damage to your enemies.

To make this build even deadlier, having a weapon that can prime enemies with Status Effects for different elements will allow you to inflict even more damage.

This works well on its own or with a weapon used as a primer, and the more you attack your enemies, the more they will suffer from this build.

Verdict

Vinquibus shines when built around its strengths, offering flexible primary and melee setups that reward critical-focused play while still enabling reliable status application through synergy.

Its shared polarities and slot-sharing design allow players to experiment with specialized or hybrid builds, making it easy to adapt Vinquibus to different combat roles.

Whether you lean into precision gunplay, melee finishers, or a mix of both, Vinquibus builds provide strong scaling potential with thoughtful mod choices and smart gameplay flow.
