When Palworld first came out, players were a bit unhappy since they couldn’t play with their buddies who were on different platforms.
Things have now changed, and you can now join your friends regardless of whether they are on a PC or using a console to play.
Thanks to the new Cross-play feature, you can now join games or invite friends to play with you no matter what platform they have Palworld on.
How To Enable Cross-play?
Enabling Cross-play is done by those who start the server, which is selected from the World Settings before they start the game.
Once you select “Start Game”, there will be an option called “Cross-play” that you can toggle on or off.
Setting this too on will allow you to invite or make your server accessible to players who are playing on a different platform.
How To Join A Cross-play Server?
Join Dedicated Servers
If you are attempting to join other servers, select “Join Multiplayer Game” to get a list of the servers that you can choose from.
This will show you a list of the servers based on your region that you can choose from and there is also a search option if you are looking for a specific server.
You can choose between Official Servers, Community Servers, and even the servers that you have previously played on.
Join Using Invite Code
One of the fastest ways to join a game is to ask your friend to provide you with the Invite Code of their server.
Invite Codes can be viewed by opening the menu while in-game and this can later be shared with players you wish to invite to your server.
Once you get an Invite Code for a server, you can use this by choosing the “Join Multiplayer Game (Invite Code” option from the main menu and putting the code in to join your friends.

Supported Platforms
Now that Cross-play has been enabled across all platforms, you can expect to be able to enjoy games with your friends who are on the following devices:
- PC (Steam)
- Xbox Series X\S
- Xbox One
- Xbox Game Pass (PC and Console)
- PlayStation 5
