Palworld has a Cosmetic Armor System, which allows you to change the appearance of the equipment your character is using.
This will let you keep your good looks while retaining the stats of the equipment that you currently have equipped, which is perfect for personalizing your character.
How To Customize Equipment Appearance?
To customize your Equipment Appearance, you will need to build an Antique Dresser, which can later be unlocked once you hit Level 22.
After an Antique Dresser has been built, you can interact with it to either alter the base appearance of your character or the Equipment Appearance.
Choosing Equipment Appearance will allow you to choose which Head, Body, and Glider will visually appear on your character.
How To Unlock More Equipment Appearances?
You might be wondering about how you can get more appearances for the different item slots that can be changed, and this is quite simple.
After doing some tests, it appears that to be able to select a certain look for your equipment, you will need to have those items.
This does not mean that you must have them in your inventory but instead, they need to at least be stashed anywhere in your base.
It would be a good idea to keep the spare armor that you have and store it somewhere so that it will appear when you choose the appearance of your equipment.
How To Unlock and Build an Antique Dresser?
As previously mentioned, you will need to reach Level 22 to unlock the Antique Dresser and this will cost you 1 Ancient Technology Point.
Once the Antique Dresser has been unlocked, you can find it in the Furniture Section of your Build Menu.
Building the Antique Dresser will require the following materials:
- 100 Wood
- 20 Fiber
- 30 Stone
- 5 Ancient Civilization Parts
