When it comes to providing your Pals with beds, there are few to choose from but later on, sometimes a comfy cushion won’t cut it.
It is a good thing that Pal Pods have been introduced to the game as these now act as a new type of structure that your Pals may rest in.
Aside from being an upgraded version of a bed, these cause your Pals to heal faster, making them perfect endgame beds for them.
How To Unlock and Build Pal Pods?
Pal Pods may be unlocked once you reach Level 57 and this may be a long way for those who have just started, but they are worth the trouble.
Once you have unlocked this structure from your Technology Menu, you may build these in your base using the following materials:
- 10 Hexolite
- 30 Pal Fluids
- 5 Circuit Board
How To Use Pal Pods?
Pal Pods act the same as beds, which means that Pals will automatically occupy them when they are going to rest.
If you noticed in the previous updates, a feature was added to the game that allowed Pals to be brought to bed when incapacitated.
The same goes for the Pal Pods as you or your Pals may bring incapacitated Pals to these structures to heal up.
When a Pal Pod has been built, this will add to the total number of beds for Pals in your base, which makes them a good replacement.
Pal Pod Effects
Pal Pods serve as a place for your Pals to rest, which will be occupied by Pals that sleep during the night.
If a Pal has been incapacitated, they will heal much faster when they are resting in a Pal Pod, making this a more efficient way of restoring their health.
Keep in mind that Pal Pods do not relieve your Pals of any status caused by stress, making it necessary to still have a good supply of different types of medicine.
Verdict
Reaching Level 57 can take a bit of time but once your character reaches it, you will be able to unlock a lot of technology, including Pal Pods.
Make sure to place Pal Pods where Pals may access them, or you might find them sleeping on the ground somewhere, but this still counts as them occupying the structure.
Regardless of the size of your Pal, they will continue to use Pal Pods as a bed if they are available, even if it appears as if their body is sticking out of the Pal Pod.
